A room, void. Complete darkness. Emptiness. Nothing, except for a light breeze passing by in the distance.

'Where am I? ' The moment Lorian thought these words, they suddenly appeared before him. The words were projected with a blue flame, which emitted heat. He quickly jumped back, realizing his body was still intact. He started looking around. Nothing. Even though the sound of the wind hinted at this being a large zone.

He looked back at the flame. Shocked by its beauty. Spiraling around itself, but staying perfectly intact. 'Was this a dream? How could that flame exist? ' It definitely didn't follow the rules of science, he had learned about. Suddenly Lorian heard a dark voice. "It's so simple, but yet so beautiful. Truly magnificent. " Lorian jumped back yet another time. The voice had appeared only a few meters behind him but he hadn't heard any breathing or steps closing in, he was sure of it.

"Who are you? Where am I? What is this place? " In contrast to his usual calm and prepared persona, Lorian was once scared. He felt the drops of sweat forming on his forehead and couldn't stop looking around and trying to find who had just talked.

Every thought told him that this had to be a dream, but every fiber of his body knew that he had felt real heat when the blue flame materialized itself. His thoughts were racing, his human nature couldn't accept all these unknown factors. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, the dark voice answered. "Everything will be explained in time, but you humans have given me many names. You probably know me as Allah, God, Jehovah or more accurately as the creator. Countless songs, pictures and organizations have been formed all just to try to perceive what I am." Even though Lorian's mind was working in overtime, he couldn't fathom what he had just heard. His entire life he had chosen not to join any religions and now he stood before the being he had denied could exist. He was equally amazed by the fact, but also scared.

"Don't worry child. I haven't come here to erase you. I have come to give you a second chance." 'A second chance?' Lorian finally forced himself to speak up. He had to find out what was going on. "Why would I need a second chance? I can clearly remember being on my way to work just a moment ago, before I suddenly appeared in this place."

All of a sudden a biting pain appeared in his head. Out of the blue he was looking down on a busy street and spotted himself walking. Lorian was a handsome, 1.88cm tall man, with broad shoulders, black hair and he was wearing a dark blue suit. On Earth he was a successful 27 year old investor, ready to snatch any opportunity that presented itself to him.

Suddenly pictures, or more accurately his own memories started flashing past him and he finally remembered what had happened.

He had been busy thinking about his upcoming day when he saw it. A ball rolling onto the road closely followed by a young boy who couldn't have been older than seven. At this point the world started moving at an interminable speed while Lorian's senses were overloading. He could hear the chirps of the birds, the wind, the music coming out of the headphones of a young lady and even see every individual blade of grass that came out of a hole in the sidewalk. His body reacted completely on its own and without thinking twice he jumped in front of the rapidly approaching truck, pushing the boy out of the way. 'Why had he been so stupid, to offer his own life, full of potential, for an unknown kid. ' This was so unlike himself but in the end his body had reacted on its own.

When he finally came back to his senses, Lorian was still standing in the same darkness. "Let me get this straight. I sacrificed my own life and now I am talking to the god humanity has been praying to for thousands of years. The being that created the entire universe? " Lorian finally stopped himself from talking, realizing what situation he was in and that he was technically dead.

"You have shown, that you can be a hero, a defender, someone who will offer even his own life in the most dire situations. Therefore, you will be resurrected into a world full of mystery, adventure and magic. I hope you will be able to fulfill your wildest fantasies and be able to walk a path that will truly make the world a better place." When Lorian heard these words, his heart started to beat faster and even though he was technically dead he couldn't stop himself from becoming excited over the thought of a new world, completely separate and diverse from Earth. Although he did have one question. "Will I remember my previous life?"

Unexpectedly a light appeared at the end of a long tunnel and while he started walking in the direction, he heard a voice filled with immense warmth in his head: 'Don't worry Lorian. I am looking forward to seeing you at the top.'
