"She knows she is alive," Yara said just when he heard him walk in.
"That's not possible, we cast a protection spell over the orphanage unless..." Bizo stares at Yara fearfully.
"Unless she crossed the border...did she go into the hills? "Yes, she did," Yara said and turned from the window to stare at Bizo one of the strongest warriors of the extinct kingdom Elixir
"I thought a strict rule was placed never to close the boundary" "Bedelia is too carefree to follow rules" "What are we going to do now, Diana would fight till her last breath to get to her since she's aware of the truth now"
Yara looked over to him and saw him pacing around the room in anger, there was nothing soft about him, a tough warrior with uncontrollable anger and Yara knows how much he had suffered to keep Bedelia safe all these years.
"You know we can't continue to hide her forever, Bizo, she's Eighteen years old, old enough to fight her battle, you can't hide her anymore"
"Old enough to fight Diana? "We'll train here...You'll train her Bizo, I think it's time to stop her from hiding" "We promised IIirhaeya that we'll protect here Yara" 'And that's what we'll do, we'll protect her as she fights her battle, we had protected her all these years against the preying eyes of Diana and we're still going to do it again...
"She's our only chance to bring back our fallen kingdom, Bizo so we would do everything to save her"
Elixir was a fallen kingdom that was ruined and destroyed by a great witch Diana, a witch no one was able to keep up, even the greatest warrior of Elixir and the great Phoenix leader llirhaeya, the ruin was so unexpected that the few survival went into exile and they all promised llirhaeya to keep Bedelia save till she was strong and capable enough to fight for her kingdom.
Bedelia
Despite making a promise to Jace she couldn't deny the fact that she was still curious to know more, something in that hill felt off...her birthmark changed from a pentagon, her birthmark wasn't something visible before, it was just like shape like scribble and about her dream last night...it wasn't just an ordinary dream, she could still sense the dark aroma, how wrong it feels just to be there and the scrabbling being in the dark. Her skin itched just remembering her dream, she looks up at the teacher and all Elia could think of was getting out of there, she needs to leave before she lose her mind.
"You don't seem well? Jace asked when they left the school an hour later "Yeah, I don't she growl with a tired face while tugging
"All I need now is to go home and have some rest I had to sit down and listen to the man talk for an hour, isn't that torture?
"Maybe... Jace smiled seeing the agony on her face, he knows that the only place Elia prefers to be was inside her room...sleeping.
They made it to the front of the orphanage only to see Getty with a stranger.
"Who is that? Bedelia asked Jace as they made their way in
"I don't know but it seems; like I have met her somewhere...he stopped abruptly and turned to her "I met her with Getty when you were hospitalized"
"I don't know that Getty entertains friends" "I don't think she's a friend, Getty was talking to her about you when I went to fetch and the way she talks to her shows that they were no friends" "So why was she talking about me...Elia stared over at them "It better not be what I'm thinking!
Jace reached out for her only to find out that she was burning out again! "Bedelia! are you okay? She found herself staring at the lady in front of her something about her seems familiar, like she had known her her whole life, she could swear that this was the first time she was meeting her but still can't deny the magnetic pull. pulling her toward this woman. "Elia! Elia!! she turned to Jace who seems to be calling her for a while now "Are you okay, you're burning" "I don't think so, take me up" She was already sweating profusely when they get to his room, and her body felt heating over...like she was going to be burned to a crisp any moment from now.
She watched, Jace rushed t the bathroom to grab a towel and a bowel to help cool down her temperature, she lay on his bed and around him to place the cold towel on her forehead "Just stay this way, I'll be right back" I shut my eyes when the door closed behind her, I tried to force myself to rest while struggling not to think about my dream which seems to haunt me every moment.
