Airiana entered the school, wearing a light denim blue jean jacket over her v necked dark blue long sleeved shirt, forever rolling her eyes since Bach refused to leave her side, constantly talking in her ear as if they were always siblings. Airiana looked up noticing that the metal detectors had been removed from the school doorways.
Bach gave her a half-smile. "You like looking at the sky?"
"Mmm, what?"
"Well, you're constantly looking up."
"Um… have you noticed that there aren't any metal detectors?"
"What?"
"Never mind."
"No seriously."
"Never mind!"
"Oh, come on!"
Airiana strode down the hallways briskly with Bach still pestering her, running to catch up. "Shut-up, will you?" She walked briskly up to Zoe.
"Why are you so crabby?" Bach pouted.
Zoe turned around. "Air!" she embraced her.
Bach quizzically stared at Zoe.
"Zoe, this is Bach, my new foster brother." Airiana had to roll her eyes again.
"Uh-h," Zoe choked on her own saliva, "WHAT?!"
"I know, right?"
Zoe stared at Bach. "No way."
Bach's eyes widened, enjoying the view.
"What's his name?" Zoe whispered in Airiana's ear, her eyes not leaving Bach's stare.
Bach pushed Airiana out of the way and stuck out his hand. "Bach Washington."
Zoe shyly smiled and shook his hand, "I'm Zoe."
Bach liked the feel of her hands in his. He could not help but feel he was falling for Zoe right at that moment.
He's cute! Zoe smiled brightly at him, her eyes twinkling.
"That's Bach SPARK to you," Airiana corrected.
"Do you know how to get her to shut-up?" Bach asked, his eyes not leaving Zoe's, acting like Airiana was not in the hallway at that moment.
Zoe giggled.
"Hey guys I'm right here!" Airiana yelled.
"You just got ditched!" Zoe stuck her tongue out at her best friend.
Airiana crossed her arms and pouted.
"Uh-hum," Greg approached behind Zoe, poking her shoulder.
"Greg!" Zoe exclaimed than grimaced. Greg was about to give Zoe a hug, but Zoe turned her back on him. "Meet Airiana's foster brother, Bach."
"Foster brother?"
"Yeah, and Bach, this is my boyfriend Greg,"
Bach could not help but laugh. "Boyfriend?!"
Airiana tried to stifle a giggle.
"Yeah!" Zoe proclaimed, feeling as though she was defending herself more than Greg.
Greg glared at Bach and put his arm around Zoe. Zoe recoiled inwardly from his touch.

Bach sat down next to Airiana and Zoe at lunch, "Is it me or is the principal making googly eyes at Air?"
Airiana looked at Zoe with her eyebrows raised. "It's you," she lied.
"Oh really? He's looking at you right now."
Airiana whirled around looked at where Bach was pointing.
There stood Drake, staring at her with intense longing eyes.
"Gross!" Zoe hissed.
"I'm going to fucking kill that bastard!" Airiana growled whirling back around stabbing her spaghetti with her fork.
Bach looked at her with his eyebrows raised. "Okay, something's definitely going on."
"Zoe and I will tell you tonight, after school,"
Bach looked back over his shoulder at Drake whose eyes were still boring into Airiana's back. Drake briefly glanced at Bach and he felt his body go numb and his stomach drop. He quickly looked down at his lunch tray stirring his food around with his fork, suddenly losing his appetite. Drake's eyes had looked red, not black like they usually were.

During 6th hour, a substitute teacher was teaching and Zoe and Airiana were in the teacher's office, messing around on her computer.
"You think the sub is going to tell us when we're going to the gym?" Airiana asked. The sub had mentioned taking the kids to play in the gym instead of practicing music on the stage.
"By the looks of it, no." Zoe replied. She looked out the window, cupping her hands around her eyes to peek out the small window in the door. "What the fuck? No one's there."
Airiana spun around. "What?" she pushed Zoe to the side with her hip and looked out the window, cupping her hands around her eyes too.
Nothing.
"Wow, they ditched us." Airiana logged onto Facebook and her and Zoe took multiple quizzes. On some quizzes they lied and picked a different answer. "Would you ever try marijuana?"
"Hmm," Zoe tapped her chin, "No, but say I would try it."
They busted out laughing. "Zoe, you are rated PG-13 with sexual content, violence, crude humor and drug and alcohol use… sounds just like you." They started laughing.
"Yeah right!"
"Okay, time for a new quiz." Airiana clicked on one. It was blocked. Then she clicked on another one. It was blocked too. "What the frick?" she clicked on another one. It was also blocked. "What the-"
Zoe frowned, "Try logging in again,"
Airiana typed in "www.facebook.com".
It was blocked.
"How's that possible?! Some-someone's on my site!"
"Wack," Zoe gasped with sudden realization. "What if it's Drake?!"
"Oo," Airiana shook her head, "What if..." she got on Microsoft Word and typed "GET OFF MY SITE YOU BITCH!"
They started to laugh. Zoe typed "YEAH! FUCK YOU!" They started to laugh even more.
Then Airiana said, between breaths from laughing, "What if… Drake can… track down… which computer it came from?"
"Then let's get the hell out of here!" Zoe proclaimed, running out the backdoor.
Airiana followed her. They ran towards the bathroom and ran into Drake when they turned the corner. Airiana and Zoe gasped in shock.
"Hello girls, what are you up to?" he asked, placing his hands tightly on their shoulders. The girls stepped back from his grip.
Airiana gave Zoe a look that said "if-Drake's-here, -who-was-on-my-site?"
Zoe shrugged.
"Um, the sub ditched us." Airiana said, feigning innocence.
Drake laughed. "So, are you skipping?" he lifted his eyebrow.
"Yeah, I guess," Zoe replied.
"Don't worry, I won't tell." he winked.
Airiana smirked. "Trust me, we know." she entered the bathroom with Zoe behind her. When Airiana washed her hands, the faucet on the left side of her turned on all by itself. "I'm sick of this school."
Zoe nodded.
-----------------------------------------
Bach sat across from Zoe and Airiana, sipping on his coke.
Zoe ate yogurt while Airiana sucked on her smoothie. "Okay, let's tell you the facts and then hit you with the biggie," The kids had gone straight to Airiana's kitchen after school due to Bach's overwhelming curiosity over the principal. Airiana and Zoe told him the story about Drake and the crazy things that had happened since he first was employed and finally told him the conclusion of the story. "Drake is a vampire."
Bach spit his coke out all over the table. "Oh, I'm sorry, but WHAT?!"
"Drake is a vampire."
"What the fuck? How did THAT happen?"
"I don't know." Zoe replied.
Bach smiled at her, then said, "I have a story too." He sighed, "I've previously been to 10 foster homes. All of them had a problem. At one, I could not keep my grades up. At another a family had a molesting father."
The girls gasped in horror.
"He didn't touch me, thank God, just the other kids. My previous family before coming here beat me. That's why I have a couple of bruises." He lifted his long sleeves revealing some black and blue bruises. Others were worse and more purple. "Airiana, your family is nice… so far."
Airiana smiled softly, then hugged him.
Bach could not help but feel giddy. She hugged me!
"I'm sorry I was so mean to you at first," Airiana whispered, tears welling in her eyes, "I had no idea my parents were going to get me a foster brother and I was already dealing with a lot that day due to Drake and our now haunted school."
"It's okay Air," Bach said rubbing her back compassionately.
"So... brother and sister?" Airiana held out her hand.
Bach smiled and took it, shaking it. "Brother and sister."
