Jeff exhaled deeply after she finally finished. He was about to stand up to escape when she held his hand.
"Please help me to unknot the straps," Catherine said in a gentle voice. She stood up so that he would be able to unknot the straps with ease.
Jeff closed his eyes and took a deep breath, he moved to unknot the straps as she had asked of him.
The silk blue shirt was full of straps. Catherine had worn it underneath the clothes she wore to the restaurant from their dinner. When they returned to their room from the restaurant she had taken off the outer clothes but didn't take off this particular one.
"I wonder why she had to wear this today of all days," Jeff muttered inaudibly.
"What did you say?" Catherine asked pretending not to have heard what he said. She tilts her head slightly to get a glimpse of his sideline.
"I said the knots are quite tight...,"
"If you are having difficulty loosening it, I can ask someone else for help...,"
