Back then she had locked herself up for a week crying her heart out. She doubted everything she has ever believed in including her love which she was once so certain about. The pain was killing. She would never wish for any woman to go through what she went through; definitely not any of her friends.
Jackson stared at her face. His heart ached to see her this way.
Although he hasn't been betrayed by the woman he loves in such a cruel way, he could understand her feelings since he is deeply in love with someone. He could imagine how hurt she was back then even though he wasn't in her life back then.
"I will do all it takes not to ever make you go through that ever again. I will love you more than I love myself because that is the only way I would never bear to hurt you. Trust me on this hmm," Jackson said as he cupped her face.
