"Liza, why are you making it sound like I regretted our marriage?" Alfred asked unhappily. His expression showed he didn't like the words and tone Elizabeth used earlier.
"Yes, I indeed wanted to marry Emmelyn in the past, I won't deny that. But the truth is never in our two years of marriage have I ever regretted having you as my wife," Alfred said while staring at her face.
"Yeah, dude that is how it should be. Elizabeth is a lovely lady. She is a thousand times better than that lady who knows nothing else other than talking down to others," Steve said as he tapped Alfred on the shoulder.
"I can see the reason why she attacked Lizzy earlier. She is angry that her wish to see their marriage collapse didn't work. She is such a sore loser," Evelyn said as she stare at the lady who was acting lovey-dovey with Mike whose gaze seems to be on their table.
