"Jasmine that is enough hmm. Don't talk to father that way because it doesn't sound nice," Jackson tried to talk to her but Jasmine wouldn't calm down even for his sake. It was as if the incident had let out all her piled up anger she has been storing all these years.
"Mum, I am leaving. I will let what happened today pass because he is my father but I swear I would have met out the same punishment to the one who hit my man had it not been that he is my father," Jasmine said as she angrily walks away.
"I didn't hit him because the news of your pregnancy will harm my image or that of the company but I did it because of you and the baby," Mr Avans's cool voice made Jasmine stop in her track. She glanced at where her father stood surprised to hear him say such words.
"I am afraid that the news of you getting pregnant before marriage will ruin your image. Different rumours will surface because of this...,"
