"I wonder what mum and father are up to this time around," Jasmine remarked. She had a bad feeling about the reason her parents invited the four of them over.
"Why are you both still standing outside when you are already here?" Mrs Avans standing at the porch on the second floor said, her gaze centred on the four people standing outside.
"Mum!" Jasmine and Elizabeth remarked lifting their head at the same time. The look on their faces showed they weren't aware that she was standing there.
"Hurry inside," Mrs Avans urged them to come in after answering their greetings.
Getting inside they saw Mrs Avans climbing down the stairs with a radiant smile on her face.
She first embraced Elizabeth before she approached where Jasmine stood clinging to Jackson.
