"You have a good reason for being bad at fishing so you don't have to blame yourself for noting doing very well. Besides, it wasn't a competition so you don't have to look gloomy because you fail to impress father this time around. I am sure you will do well next time," Alfred tapped Jackson's shoulder gently to encourage him.
"Uncle told me that the next game we are gonna play is chess so tell me when I will have the opportunity to impress him?" Jackson said in a sad tone.
"You know that although I know the basics of chess game I am not good at it. So that means I won't be able to impress him...," Jackson trailed. At that moment he so much wanted to drink to relieve his frustration but he held back when he recalled Mrs Avans smiling face when she left.
"I wonder why Uncle hates me so much? Am I so bad that he won't let me marry Jasmine...,"
