In fact, it looked like everyone knew what had happened back home except me so why did all of you keep it a secret from me?" Jasmine asked seriously as she focused all her attention on Catherine. The driver made sure not to get distracted by the ladies conversation.
"Because I thought it was better you didn't know. Besides you had told me before we arrived at the Maldives that I shouldn't discuss with you anything work-related that is why I didn't reveal anything to you about the incident," Catherine defended herself in a calm tone.
