It was a new Spring, a type he'd never even seen before. When he saw it, he let out a mischievous smirk, then he turned around and walked back up the stairs, though when he reached the top, he saw his aunt's arm over the center tube, blood dripping from it and into the glass container.
Rein furrowed his eyebrows and frowned, instantly bringing out his swords. When the blood hit the bottom, a burst of explosive energy came out from the center of the circle, then all began absorbing into his aunt's body, almost as if it were being suctioned into her. She let out a calculated laugh as she walked around the side of the tube, staring directly into Rein's eyes.
"Look how far just a drop of my blood got me! Imagine the power of an entire life!" She exclaimed as she reveled in her new power.
