"Well damn, I had no idea," Luther scratched his head in confusion. "But if that's true, shouldn't that mean that I should be dead? I've had dozens of primary contractors over the years die on me."
"The link goes one way. If the System wielder dies, the contractor does too. But if the contractor dies, the System wielder does not. So as long as the contractor is alive, it's a given that the System wielder is as well."
