"Smart of you to figure that out. Usually, this wouldn't be the case, but restricting another System's power is no small feat," she replied with a smile on her face, seemingly unflinched by her opponent's revelation.
"You seem strangely calm about this," Rein spoke with suspicion.
"Right. Someone like you isn't enough to make me nervous. In fact, I'll even cut you a deal. I won't use another soul to revive myself for the rest of the fight," she said with unwavering confidence.
Without responding, Rein dashed forward and swung his swords at her, the girl barely blocking the unexpected attack with her bare hands. The swords trembled against her palms, digging into them as they gushed a great deal of blood.
"Deal," he smiled deviously, then pulled his swords back, thrusting them forward.
She dodged the attack, jumping to the left onto the trunk of a tree standing sideways looking down at Rein.
