"It's gonna take a while for us to heal, so you're stuck here till then."
"Right…" He responded as he moved his hand from his head. "I needed a break anyway."

A long silence followed his words, echoing the emptiness of the white void.
"About the old man…" Versys broke the silence, making Rein twitch upon hearing.
"It's fine… You don't have to say anything," Rein turned to his side, facing away from Versys.
"I really liked him too. It truly was a shame."
Of course, Rein was still mourning his death, and though the despair was beckoning him to give up, his mind didn't budge. He'd already steeled himself for what was to come, and from that moment onwards, he swore vengeance no matter the cost.
"So, what now? You have a plan?" Versys interrupted his train of thought.
