One day as jean and Hanao were strolling down the busy streets of Paris they see a flashing ball of light in an alley way. Being born and raised on the streets Hanao and Jean knew better then to go right where they saw a ball of flashing light. As they try to rush out of the scene as fast as they can they realise the entire area was dead silent suddenly. The streets were filled with people just a second ago, how did everyone leave suddenly they ask themselves before they're stopped by a kid seemingly younger then them, They try to ignore the kid and leave but as they keep walking they look back to see the kid looking back at them and no matter how much they try moving forward, no matter how much they walk they are still at the same place they were before... Scared and tensed they try and run from the scene but that was also futile. The kid then speaks up "You do realise you can't leave unless I let you, don't you?". The kid walks towards them while it's appearance starts to change into that of a teenage girl "I have some things to discuss with you guys", Jean and Hanao were both terrified of the mess they'd walked into. They try and plead to the girl to not kill them to which the girl changes her appearance into that of a boy and replies "hey I just want to talk to you guys who said anything about killing you". Seeing her change appearances again and saying the word kill Jean faints in confusion and Hanao grabs him to stop him from hitting the concrete. With a frightened look in her eyes she asks him "What did you do to him! why did he just faint!". Looking a bit confused the boy says "What do you mean? he fainted on his own... don't worry I'll wake him up" with a snap of her fingers Jean wakes up, Hanao strokes his head and hugs him.
Jean was never the strong or feisty type. Hanao found him in a alleyway shivering in the cold and crying. She asked the 4year old Jean what happened to which he answered that his mom said she would be back for him in a while but it had been more then a day and she wasn't back. Hanao who was an orphan knew what this meant, he was left on the streets to be thrown into a orphanage. the 6year old hanao who was living on her own after escaping a orphanage decided to look after the boy who couldn't even speak his name properly. 12years later Jean and Hanao make a living by pickpocketing and scamming tourists.
Hanao held Jean's hand and they both stand up to face what seems to be either a very good illusionist or a alien of some sort. Scared out of their minds, Hanao and Jean ask the guy who he is and what he wants from them. The shapeshifting guy tells them a answer they weren't expecting... "I am the creator of this universe ofcourse.. I'm The Source." Jean and Hanao started grinning and Hanao said "This is some kind of prank isn't this? is this because we stole something from you? or are you a heretic trying to instil the fear of god into us? well whatever you're trying to do we're not falling for it" Hanao signals jeant to leave by tugging his hand and as they turn back to leave in a hurry they see themselves not in paris anymore but on mount Fuji in Japan. "aah so this is where you've always wanted to go Hanao, back to the only place you have memories of... It's really chilly here.. I should've worn jackets like you guys.." The Source says rubbing his arms. Jean realises that he and Hanao suddenly have jackets on. Both of them shiver in shock and they back away to the edge of the mountain. Hanao asks in a terrified tone "Who the hell are you! how did you bring us here! how did you know I wanted to come here?! what is even going on!"
"As I've told you before I'm the creator of this universe and all the other universes as a matter of fact. Ohh and my name is The Source or atleast that's what I am.. And I hate cold places mind if we talk somewhere a little warmer?" he says while looking at Jean and Hanao for a reply.
Hanao and Jean look at each other and although they're terrified they both decide to go with the source. Being street kids with nothing to go back to they feel like they have some kind of a purpose. and even Hanao's long forgotten wish to visit mount Fuji in her home town was fulfilled by The Source. Filled with fear, excitement and adrenaline Jean and Hanao move forward not looking back.
