Amiya sat tight on Simon's car as they drove together to Nina's house. They didn't talk nor converse on the whole period of time before the car was pushed to the end of the road and straight to the woods by magic force.
Simon panicked once the car had hit a tree and stuck. "What's going on?" He asked Amiya who was in shock herself and then they got out of the car quickly. Just when they got out Simon's car burned down in flames and they turned back to look at it, and then they looked at each other.
There was no one around and practically whoever did that, didn't want to be noticed yet. Amiya looked around but her hands were inside her jacket pockets hanging on tight to the stone.
"Let's walk, it's not very far from here" She said to Simon.
"Are you insane? My car just went out in flames! I need to call the cops"
Just when Simon pulled out his phone to call the cops, Amiya took it "It won't work. You think the cops are going to catch a witch?"
"A witch did this?"
"Stop asking questions Simon. Let's leave..." said Amiya with cautious still looking around for whoever played them and then she took off running, and Simon followed her.
Gladys saw them as she was above the air as a bird. She took pity into her granddaughter's stubbornness and will to help out her friends which she knew definitely it would end bad for her. Preferably killed and just when she thought of that, Amiya and Simon were surrounded by five witches who were sent by Lunara. They had put them in a circle.
"Give me the stone!" Shouted one of them.
Simon asked Amiya "What stone?"
"Listen to me careful Simon. I'm going to give you the stone and you are going to take it to Nina"
"What? No, they don't like me"
Amiya looked at him "I don't care" she said and then gave him the stone and she took off running into the woods. And Simon took off too at that instant and his werewolf gene helped him to run at night speed.
The witches sent by Lunara didn't even bother running after Amiya, she didn't have the stone and they took off going after Simon. It was a race indeed and they didn't know that Simon was a werewolf and their magic won't work on him.
Gladys knew how smart Amiya was to hand over the stone to Simon. She was even impressed by her choices but she didn't have time to be impressed. She shape shifted again into a wolf and it was fast. Way faster than even the witches as she passed them and jumped towards Simon who was holding the stone and just a few steps from Nina's house. After she saw him down Gladys shifted back to her normal human form.
"Hand it over boy before I kill you right now" she demanded.
"I'd rather die..."
Simon threw the stone towards the door of Nina's house but it didn't fall to the ground. Indeed it was magical, "Really? That wasn't necessary..." said Gladys to Simon and then she hit him with a big punch and he fainted.
Antonio opened the door after he heard some struggles from the inside and he found the stone on the doorway. He quickly picked it up and gasped at the contact. Nina came out too. She asked "What is it?" and he showed her the stone.
Gladys voice came up as she walked towards them. "It belongs to neither of you, so give it up right now I have things to do"
"Gladys?" Nina's eyes widened with amazement "Where's Miya?"
"The matters concerning my granddaughter are none of your business vampire. Hand me over the stone" She barked and walked straight to them but suddenly she felt a seal and couldn't move.
It was like there was a glass in front of her and she couldn't pass through it. Then appeared Regina from the inside, she was the one who set up the seal to block Gladys. "You bitch!" cursed Gladys looking at Regina as if she was ready to tear her apart.
"Invitees only..." said Regina and smiled. Then Antonio closed the door of the house and they both surrounded him.
"What is it?" Nina asked.
"It's an underworld magic stone, it's called Zail personally owned by Hades himself"
Regina gasped "The god of the underworld?" she asked and Antonio nodded.
"What is it doing here?"
"I stole it!" They heard Amiya's voice coming from the back door and they all looked back.
Nina moved closer to her and then she embraced her in a hug. "We were worried about you"
"I'm fine"
Antonio intervened "You stole this from Hades?" He asked Amiya.
"No I stole it from Lunara. She was given that by Hades"
"Hades himself?"
"Yes" said Amiya assuring them.
Just on the midst of their conversation Hawaii barged inside and he looked wreck less than ever. His hands were full of blood which some had sprayed all over his shirt. His friends all looked at him. "Hey guys..." He said with a smile.
"What did you do now?" Nina asked him.
"Nothing really just a couple of witches who seemed to bother me outside and... why is Amiya's granny trapped in a seal outside?"
"Granny is trapped?" Amiya asked.
"Yes she is. I did it" replied Regina "Guys we need to know more about this stone before the seal goes down. I can't hold her for much longer"
Hawaii asked "What stone?"
Antonio showed him and he was even scared of touching it. He managed a simple "What is it?"
"Hades stone from the underworld"
"Hades! The underworld god?"
"Yes" replied Nina.
"Where did you get it?"
"From Amiya who got it from Lunara, in the witch realm"
Hawaii chuckled softly and then he walked to a couch and threw himself on it. He pointed his hand at Amiya "You are way more of a bad ass than I gave you credit for. What was Lunara doing with it anyway, is she fucking the Hades or something?" He made a joke but suddenly his friends realized it couldn't be a joke.
"It could be right. The only way Hades would ever give this to someone is because he trusts the woman who takes it. This is a powerful stone capable of releasing hell on earth" said Regina.
"You are very right Regina" said Antonio as he moved around in circles "But there's only one way to know for sure"
"What is it?" They all asked.
"To take a trip to the underworld" He said and all of them were amazed and didn't expect him to say that.
"Are you out of your mind?" Hawaii intervened "We are all going to die and preferably never coming back"
"If we do it carefully we can make out of it alive"
"Says an immortal old vampire. I'm out of this..." said Hawaii and got up of the couch then he made his way upstairs.
Regina followed him upstairs and in the living room there was only Antonio, Amiya and Nina. As they stood not knowing what to say they heard Gladys voice from outside "I will kill everyone of you after this seal goes down. I will devour you to pieces!"
"Antonio tell me again about this plan of yours" said Nina and Amiya stopped her "No way Nina. You are not doing this"
"If we don't do it then what are we going to do. Nazar is a flying wolf and he'll be back anytime to kill us all. Lunara intends on releasing the spectators from the underworld. Amiya we don't have many options" explained Nina trying to make her friend understand.
"She's right Amiya. We don't"
"We?" Amiya asked him "There's no we, I don't trust you not even one bit"
"Then trust me" Nina barged in their fight and she held Amiya's arm "Okay, trust me"
"Okay"
In another time, Antonio might have been tempted to take route and get himself all the way to the underworld. But between Amiya and Regina who were very powerful witches and with Nina to escort him to the darkness, he somewhat felt ready for whatsoever was waiting for him.
"So what's the plan?" Nina asked as she moved closer to him and looked straight to his eyes.
"I only know if we get to the underworld and take this stone..."
Before he could finish Amiya interrupted him "Back to Hades?" she asked.
"No, not back to him but to someone I know"
"In the underworld?" Nina asked with a shocking look on her face because she didn't expect that.
"Yes a friend of mine"
"And can we trust this friend of yours?"
"We sure can after she sees this stone. She's been wanting it forever but now that we have it and we can strike a deal with her"
"What's her name?" asked Amiya.
"Medusa"
"Medusa?" Amiya and Nina asked at the same time.
None of them expected Antonio to have a friend like Medusa. She's known for her brutal behavior and seven snakes up on top of her head. She's the side ruler of the underworld alongside Hades, but these two had never become friends all their lives. Medusa is a power hungry woman with a vengeance towards Hades and the only think that kept Hades in power was that stone. But now it had fallen in the wrong hands unlike what he and Lunara expected.
Antonio calmed them down until they understood the consequences of traveling to the underworld but also what they would be facing. "But in order for us to pass through the gates of Hades without being identified we are going to need someone. Someone who is invisible in the underworld"
"Who?" Asked Amiya
After a moment of silence and thinking Antonio came up with "Alice, she's the only who would be invisible in the underworld. She could carry the stone"
Nina walked away from him "No, no she's not who she used to be. She lost her memory Antonio and now you want us to take her to the underworld?"
"It's the only way we will pass through the gates of hell"
"We can find another way"
Antonio walked closer to her "This is the only way. She's the key to everything. She won't be noticed by Hades"
"What if something happens to her, or worse we don't get back. She has studies and a future, a whole career ahead of her. We can't mix her up again in these situations..." said Nina and none could argue with her because she made such a point.
"Then we go and get caught. All that for nothing..."
"I'm going to get her" Amiya said and she didn't even wait for Nina to say anything and she just barged outside the door and walked away.
She passed through her granny who was sealed outside and as she expected, Gladys called out to her.
"Miya! Miya"
"What?"
"Give me back the stone. It's dangerous you don't know what you are attracting into our own town by just holding it here. It doesn't belong here"
"I know it doesn't. It belongs to the underworld but we are going to hand it over to someone else..." she said to Gladys and started walking away.
"Miya, Miya come back over here. You are making a huge mistake"
Amiya didn't look back for anything, not her granny's threats or anything. She walked to her car and drove off to Alice's and that's when Gladys knew she needed to do something before anything happens but the seal was strong and it completely blocked her from view.
When she reached Alice's house, Amiya found her sitting on a couch watching soccer with her Dad. She envied that for her and at that moment she was lost on their connection and laughter that she even forgot what really brought her there but when she shrugged it off she called. "Alice..."
And Mark turned over "Oh Amiya! Get inside" and Amiya entered inside while Alice was looking at her like she was trying to remember where exactly did she see her .
