In one particular morning, in the great city of Rome there was a tournament for titans. Gladiators from all great houses who have been trained and prepared for the great day to come were on the arena, and the great house of Master Antonio was in rampage and winning almost every fight there was.
Nina sat alongside Antonio, the same man who had rescued her four years ago and at that time she was engaged to him. Antonia was a very handsome Italian young man and first love of Nina, she loved how kind he was and protective he can be sometimes. He owned lots of gold all across Rome and very famous for his gladiators who never died on battle field.
"I don't understand how come they never die?" Nina asked after seeing Julio, who was Antonio's gladiator not falling down even when he had a spear through his heart.
"If it was wood he would've died on spot"
"But not iron?"
"Mmmh-mmh"
"Interesting" She said while drinking her wine. Antonio looked at her and he saw how interested she was. He stood up and offered his hand to Nina.
"Follow me, My Lady" He said softly.
"Now? The fight has just started"
"I'm positive"
"If you insist, My Lord" Nina got help from one of Antonio's slaves and stood up. She took Antonio's hand and they both smile at each other.
Ten slaves who carried umbrellas followed them as they covered their master and mistress from the heat of the day. Antonio left matters to his assistant to oversee the remaining tournament as he and Nina got inside a carriage and their slave kicked the horse's hooves and pound away.
Inside the carriage, Antonio couldn't stop himself from kissing Nina. He was so in love, and ready to do anything in the name of it. He asked her;
"Would you spend the rest of eternity with me?"
"If we had that eternity at all…" She answered between his kisses.
"Yes we do! I will turn you tonight, you and I will spend all our days together"
"Turn me?"
"Yes, be like me"
"A vampire?" She asked in shock, not because she didn't know Antonio's secret but because she had never thought of even one day that she will be a vampire. "But, you drink blood and…"
"I can't die. Or grow old, mi amore you and I will live forever. We shall oversee the world changing, generation to generations eloping and whilst others fade. You and I will triumph" He said and ended his words with a smile.
"Yes"
"Yes?"
"Yes" She chuckled, "Yes, let's triumph My Lord" she finished and he kissed her roughly.
The carriage knocked the gates of their huge mansion and they were deep in their romance and affection. Slaves came out and threw a red carpet for them to enter inside, they came out of the carriage laughing and still between each other's arms with a promise of forever love.
Their master bedroom was as huge as a size of a football court adorned with flowers and perfumes. There was a slave in every corner of the room standing ready to heed their master's request and when Nina and Antonio entered inside their bedroom, the slaves stood still looking forward as if not seeing anything.
"I want you right now…" He said taking off his white robe and sandals, he remained naked and Nina took her dress too but she hung on to her underneath fabric. Then, they moved closer to each other and kissed slowly.
"How will it happen?" She asked between the kiss.
"You only need to feed on my blood, and then die"
"Mmmh, will it hurt?"
"Are you afraid of pain, My Lady?"
"Not at all, My Lord. I crave for it…" She whispered it into his earlobes and he grew hard at that instant, but she quickly jerked away "I'm on my monthly blood mi amore…"
"Aaargh! No"
"But I will enjoy seeing you doing it. I will feel like you are inside me" said Nina and then she pointed at a male slave who was standing still close to the door.
He had long black hair, baby face and a slim body. He was only wearing a piece of cloth on his waist to cover his private parts. Antonio was flattered by his fiancee's choice.
"Him?"
"Yes, you don't mind a bit of buggery do you My Lord? Because I will absolutely love it…"
"Anything for you…" He said and called out the slave "You, come here!"
"Master" The slave obeyed and walked faster to where Antonio was standing naked.
Nina surveyed him by touching his body, which was soft and then she looked at Antonio and giggled "He's like a woman"
"Is he?" asked Antonio and decided to touch him too. "Have you ever laid with a man slave?"
"Yes Master" answered the slave and Nina gasped with excitement.
"See I told you he was perfect. Now take off your robe slave and please your master" She commanded and walked back to bed where she laid down excited to see them.
Antonio had no idea what his fiancée was doing, but he played along just to please her. The slave took out his robe and touched Antonio, he then started to kiss him slowly while caressing his back and touching his bottom. He didn't lie about being experienced because he knew exactly what to do to turn Antonio on, to the point he was kissing him back roughly and then Antonio bent him over at the edge of the bed and spread his thighs. Nina watched with a smile as her fiancé was destroying the slave's back.

Fast-forward to almost a millennium later, she woke up on her bed after a rampage she had caused last night. The sun was shining, and it was ought to be a good day. Her phone rang and she quickly picked up.
"Hello?" She said
"Hey, its Alice. We have to meet"
"Okay where?"
"At your house. I'm coming over. I need you to tell me everything and don't you dare lie to me again"
"Alright, I won't"
Alice hung up and then, Hawaii called. She hesitated at first but then she picked it up.
"What a show you've put on last night, now the whole town is going to be looking for us. What happened to staying low key and not cause attention?" Hawaii shouted at Nina.
"I snapped, my humanity switch was off"
"And you forgot to clean your own mess?"
"How's Amiya?" She asked.
"Well she doesn't want to talk to you…"
"You guys are together?"
"Of course, she's performing a locator spell for the other missing arrows which can kill us. Others we still got to live even if you've given up on yours" He said and hung up.
The house seemed quiet huge and silent, and she was bored. She called Alice and told her they should meet somewhere open, like in a restaurant and Alice agreed.
Warlington streets and luxury points were closed for a moment because of the fear of what happened, the night before. There was no possible explanation of what happened. The police closed down Warlington bar for further investigation.
"All the victims were drawn off blood" The town's sheriff explained to Mark, Alice's father after he arrived at the area of scene.
"Then there can only be one thing"
"They are back in town, and they've declared war on human species"
"What should we do Sheriff?" asked Mark.
"We must attack back!"
"That's your solution? I think I may need to call out a meeting with the secret council, we cannot just do things by anger"
"Well I'm angry Mark. I am filled with anger to the point I might burst"
"I got this Sheriff"
"You better Mark, or I'm gonna hit them where it hurts" Said the Sheriff and left the scene.
Mark got authorization from the WPD (Warlington Police Department) as a detective and entered inside the bar. From a far, Alice was meeting with Nina in a restaurant nearby which was open. She found an empty sit outside and ordered a coffee, as she sat waiting for Nina.
She heard a pat on the shoulder, and a young handsome man sat next to her. It was Antonio, the first love of Nina and the man she's been running from for hundreds of years.
"I'm sorry do I know you?" Alice asked him nervously.
"I know you, isn't that enough?" He said and Alice noticed his Italian thick accent.
The waitress came on their table holding a plate.
"Can I get you anything Sir?" She asked
"Nothing love, but I would like you to deliver a message for me. As soon as I leave I want you to take this knife and stab her" He said and pointed at Alice, "Then you shall deliver this to a woman named Ninarivera Roberto" he continued and took a napkin, then wrote words in capital letter "VENDETTA" and he handled it over to the waitress.
"Stab me? Who are you…?" Asked Alice but Antonio was nowhere, he had already vanished and at that moment she knew she was in danger. She took off and run.
The waitress picked up a knife and ran after her, she was compelled and there was nothing she could've done. She chased Alice with all the strength she had, Alice didn't bring her car hence she had no means of escaping her while the waiter followed her like a ghost possessed.
Her amazing track record since she was young helped her to run faster, and the waiter didn't stop. Not for a red light or a car which almost hit her, she kept chasing and chasing Alice who was running to Amiya's.
When she reached Amiya's house, she was panting hard and trembling with fear. Both Hawaii and Amiya were there.
"Alice! Are you okay?" asked Amiya.
"No! She's running after me…"
"Who?" Hawaii asked and before she could say anything. The waiter had already reached Amiya's house and she broke the front door. "Who is she Alice?"
"This waitress at Freddy's, she was compelled by this man who sat with me and he said..."
"Who was it?" asked Amiya and that waitress raced towards Alice but Hawaii was too fast and too strong, he got to her and took the knife. He then stabbed her in the stomach and she fell down bleeding and coughing blood. They all stood watching her dying.
"What happened?" Hawaii asked. Alice didn't reply but took comfort in hugging him and he embraced her in his arms.
Nina showed up at Amiya's house after she was called because of the incident. She was shocked after seeing the waitresses' body on the floor covered in blood. "What happened?" She asked Amiya.
"I don't know, she tried to kill Alice and told to deliver a note"
"What note?"
Hawaii came downstairs holding the napkin which had the message for Nina with the Italian Word Vendetta written on it. He quietly handed it over to Nina.
"She's asleep?" Amiya asked about Alice.
"Like a baby, I gave the sedatives you told me to"
'Good. Nina, what is it?"
Nina was trembling and she nearly dropped the note, Hawaii rushed to her and held her tight in his arms. "Easy, easy…"
"He's here." She said.
"Who's here?" asked Amiya.
"My vengeful ex, Antonio"
"Who's Antonio?"
Hawaii hearing the name Antonio, he stood up and left Nina on the couch. He was confused and scared what will be of him after Antonio finds him. They practically did something so bad back then for them to be scared of him that much. Amiya was the one confused and not knowing what was going on.
"Guys, who's this Antonio?" Amiya demanded an answer but none of them was ready to talk. Hawaii barged out of the house leaving Nina with Amiya. He didn't know where he was going but he had determined in finding Antonio.
