Chapter 64 - Not Allowed

'How even is this possible?'

Zaiden clenched his shirt and took heavy steps towards the end of the flyover. Ahead of him was an arched entrance of that particular storey. The ingress seemed a rusty building with an archaic architecture, Zaiden entered the storey and knelt on his knees.

He was heavily panting while Garry was in absolute health, although it intrigued him how Zaiden was able to withstand the physical pressure.

"Are you alright, kid?"

He didn't intend to hide his utter praising smirk, which Zaiden noticed and it rose an irking within him.

Zaiden managed to stand up with his slightly shaking limbs and crimson orbs shining bright.

"Oh, I forgot to tell you about the strict security system. It's due to this panel here, Hexaphere is enriched in any and every kind of imaginative technology. You think of it today, we will have it invented tomorrow."

He grasped that Garry deliberately switched the topic to fuel his anger. Zaiden figured it out what sly strategy he was executing to see his potential element.

'He is intentionally trying to enrage me, I assume he wants me to engage in some fight to blow my cover.'

Zaiden's short temper was already troublesome but it wasn't an underlying danger anymore.

He had been involved in numerous fights which helped him to discover his powers. However he was still unable to determine their potential and to track how exactly his element works.

Zaiden soon recovered from the pressure and his breathing returned to normal. Garry was interested in witnessing more, since things had already turned out good. He smiled at him as they headed towards the seemingly short tunnel.

'This place is heavily guarded with multiple gadgets. And accordingly my knowledge they should be able to influence and affect him in either way.'

Garry' speculation were accurate, his expected awareness on the matter turned the particular place into a potential trap.

Meanwhile Zaiden was consistently reminding himself, trying to trick his subconscious to stay calm.

'I have to ace this test, or else that old man won't introduce me to the real art.'

Hemomancy caught his interest which made Zaiden mend his attitude towards Michal.

"I want to see the broker here, while you can skim around to explore the gadgets."

Garry truthfully told him, acknowledging possibly what could be Zaiden's interest. And expectedly he was already looking at the roof of the tunnel.

Whatever metal was used to make up the gateway was illuminating. And was producing a calmer effect due to mana radiation. If someone ordinary survived the first impact then the strength level would be drifted to half.

"Where is the shop you were looking for by the way?"

While they reached the end of the tunnel a bright light appeared. They both were now in the middle of black market, where all the advanced weaponry was sold. Michal knew about Zaiden's watch which was another reason why he sent him there.

The weapons existing outside Hexaphere didn't have the capability to kill vampires. Thus, Michal could trust the situation in his favor, however only if he was aware about Zaiden's ingenious nature. That particular area differed from the first academy, however the current training center had some traces of Hexaphere tech.

Zaiden inspected the whole row of the shops on his both sides. He wanted to pick Michal's parcel all alone, Garry wasn't someone he could trust easily.

"I will visit him later, but at first I want to explore this place. You know...they don't let people come here."

He could guess it from the heavy security, the certain statement caused a smile over Garry' face. Zaiden still had to figure out what the currency was and how things work in that market. As much as Zaiden wanted to learn magic, he was also aware that it had limitations.

"Yeah, that's why I brought you here. You wanted to see the tech but the guarding spirit of Hexaphere didn't let you experience the glory."

Zaiden recalled clearly requesting to see the tech, now was his chance to buy something which he could turn into his desired weapon. They both entered a shop having no banner or any identity written on it. It seemed a garage with different metallic items hanging and placed on each shelf.

'I don't see that bright blue energy here. That should be the fuel for these weapons, right?'

Accordingly his precision the weapons Garry sold to the broker were a mere initial stage. The Solarians were producing their own bullets and chemical explosives fused with magic. That's what made the miners undergo mutations, Garry headed towards the broker's cabin leaving Zaiden alone.

Zaiden sensed malicious gazes fixated upon him, the workers in the garage were already irked by his presence. Nobody was supposed to visit the market without the permit from the boss, since Garry had it and Zaiden practically just tagged along.

"Who are you, kid? And who sent you here?"

A brawly man approached Zaiden from behind with his unwelcomed tone. Zaiden immediately grasped his senses had terribly dropped, that he didn't hear the man advancing closer. Hearing his voice all the workers paused their work and stared at both of them.

"I came here with Garry, he is in that office."

Zaiden pointed out towards the certain room, the brawly raised his one eyebrow in suspicion. While the workers slowly grabbed their weapons in case he was lying.

"Do you have the permit? Everyone who comes here has the seal, do you realize you are practically an intruder here?"

The man reached for Zaiden's shirt from collars to drag him out of the garage. Only the boss knew about Garry's secret for being a mutant, however that made Zaiden even more suspicious.

"I don't know how did you even get inside, but you are not allowed here."

He pulled Zaiden from his shirt while gesturing all the other workers to stay back. Whereas the kid got infuriated upon the mistreatment, Zaiden' eyes glowed crimson and the golden flecks appeared again.

"Leave my shirt!"

The brawly halted and stared back at Zaiden, who grabbed his hand and the next sound which resonated in the garage was of bones crushing into crisps!
