The sound of Rose closing the door of his car after sitting down comfortably brought him back to reality and without saying a word to her, or looking at her, he drove off.
Rose noticed something was off but considering that she was still confused about the whole situation she was in with Jace's elder brother, she decided to mind her business unwilling to offend this living time bomb.
He drove her home and surprisingly, his mansion was only fifteen ride away from her home. He stopped at the gate and got down from his car. He opened the door for her and waited patiently for her to step out of his car.
"You know the way to my house. I saved my number in your phone with my name. You can call me or find me whenever you need my help although I will be very close to you when you need me," he said giving her the paper bag with her purse, clothes, shoes and phone lying neatly arranged in it.
