Synopsis

Chapter 1 - Author's Introductory Note

Hello Friends!

Please add me into your collection ;)

I'm excited to see you picking up this second novel of mine. In advance, THANK YOU for adding this into your collection. I do hope you will enjoy reading and just have fun...destress along the way. My motto as an author and reader is to 'escape for a single moment in time'.

The original title of this book is 'Kingdom of Xi', because I'm a huge fan of historical romances that aren't written enough on the market (at least for Asian based stories). I wrote this around 6 years ago and I'm editing as I release the chapters because some parts were cringey, I wonder what the heck I was writing at the time. It's amazing what growing up does for your maturity. Haha.

PS : For those who have read The CEO & His Mistress, please note the character vibes and maturity might be different (or not). This was first written in 2017 and I'm willing to bet there is bound to be a distinction. But, it's one of the first novels I've truly ever written to completion, so I hope you'll still enjoy it, overall.

PPS : Each chapters are quite long, so as usual I'll be splitting them into parts. If you see any typos, do comment and let me know. Even though I revise my stories several times, sometimes the human eye just misses things.
