It seemed to have responded to Steel, it went back to it's normal state and as the tides were close to bringing him into Davey Jones's Locker, a nightmare that Steel believed to be an utter hell.
As he was spared, all he could do was sigh in relief but as it came to sunrise, Steel felt something that made him free, something that somehow understood the situation that he was in.
As it came to 5:00, Thea came up to the docks to see Steel unconscious, she ran up to him, and as she looked at him, she seemed to remember something, something that was important.
As she saw that Steel wasn't breathing, she performed CPR but as Steel woke up, he thought she was kissing him, as she came to realise it, she stepped back in an embarrassing state.
"W - w - w - what were you doing pretending to be dead?" stuttered Thea as she was upset with Steel, little did they know that they gave their first kiss to each other.
"M - me? What about you? Why'd you kiss me? I just gave my first kiss to the captain, now everyone's going to be killing me". Thea replied with, "What about my kiss? I gave it to you, I thought you were gone".
"Loser, you may as well take responsibility now that you got me pregnant". Steel was in shock by what she said, "Wait how are you pregnant?" asked Steel as he was shocked by what he had heard.
"My father told me that when a man and women both give up their first kiss, they begin to have a child". Steel's mind just laughed at what she stated, but in reality he couldn't help but feel sorry for her.
Thea then cried by being pregnant, Steel decided to comfort her and said, "Hey, it's okay, I promise I'll take responsibility for it but until then, I'll promise I'll protect you and our child".
Thea then blushed and slapped him and told him to go back to the cabins and at least sleeps he did what he was told and in 2 hours, he was fully ready to start the day, surprisingly suspicious I would say.
As Steel got up, she saw Lucy all up on his face and she was upset with Steel, as she went off him, Hope came to check on him, since she was worried there was any scars on him.
"Its okay Captain, I was lucky thanks to that scroll that Thea gave me". Hope looked confused by what he meant by 'the scroll' that he used, "What scroll?" Steel looked more confused than Hope was.
He then went to check the time, it was around 4:15 which made it even more difficult to understand what was going on, he could've sworn that he stayed up there until around 4:00.
Something wasn't making sense but he knew that he should check what was going on with the others because of how they weren't there to fully experience what happened to Steel.
That was when Thea and Steel crossed paths, Thea was blushing and as for Steel, he didnt want to make eye contact with her due to what happened to him and her so they went their separate ways and do whatever they needed to do.
