"I know what I said, but you know that I am right" said Maddie as she laughed and she and Annie were walking to the dining room for breakfast.
"You know what Maddie, I am not going to argue with you, whatever you say" said Annie as she laughed and she shook her head as she and Maddie entered the dining room.
"Ughhh, not him" said Maddie a she groaned and she saw Ollie and Matt eating breakfast as she wondered why this guy was still here.
"Oh good Morning Annie, Maddie" said Matt as he smiled.
"Good Morning Matt" said Annie as she smiled and she sat down at her usual spot at the dining table which was across Matt as Maddie sat beside her.
"Morning Matt" said Maddie with a smile.
"Good morning guys" said Ollie as he smiled.
"Good morning Ollie" said Annie with a smile as Maddie scoffed.
"Blondie, how long are you going to be here for?" asked Maddie as she ate a piece of toast, this guy had been here for the past few days now, she preferred it when he was not here, but now he was here every day.
"Well actually for a long time, I'm not sure, I do have three more High Council meetings to attend" said Ollie with a smile as he just loved annoying Maddie, could you blame him? It was very fun to do so.
"Mhmm, well you should be done with all those High Council meetings and leave already blondie" said Maddie.
"Oh don't lie Maddie, you know that you love me being here, you admire my company" said Ollie with a smile.
"No I don't blondie, if you repeat that nonsense again, it will be off with your head" said Maddie as Ollie just smiled and it annoyed her even more.
"You two stop it, I thought you were chill dude" said Matt as he looked at Ollie.
"I am relatively chill, but she started it, I just had to defend myself" said Ollie as he looked at Matt and Matt shook his head, although he knew that Ollie was right, Maddie could be too much sometimes.
"Annie, are you not going to say anything about this?" asked Ollie as he looked at Annie who was quietly eating her breakfast.
"Nope, not at all, I have learnt to stay out of anything that has to do with you and Maddie" said Annie as she shook her head.
"Thank you Annie, at least you get it" said Maddie as Ollie just shook his head at her.
"Some people just think that they are all knowing and all perfect, meanwhile, they are just useless" said Maddie.
"Oh Maddie, I didn't hear you clearly, please repeat what you said, and wait a minute, my mother is coming, you should say what you said to me to her" said Ollie as Maddie scoffed.
"Mommy's boy" said Maddie as she scoffed and Ollie just smiled at her.
"Don't tell me that your mother is actually coming over?" asked Maddie.
"What do you think?" asked Ollie with a smile as Maddie scoffed and Annie stood up.
"You both are giving me a headache, I am going to eat breakfast outside" said Annie as she carried her plate and juice.
"Me too, have fun" said Matt as he did the same and he followed after Annie, leaving both Maddie and Ollie alone in the dining room.
"See what you caused now, they don't want to eat with us" said Ollie.
"Me??? I did nothing, this is all on you blondie, you are so annoying, you are the reason why they don't want to eat with us, I am out of here, thanks for ruining breakfast" said Maddie as she stood up.
"For the record, you ruined breakfast not me, everything was fine until you came here, but whatever you want to think, you are free to think" said Ollie as Maddie scoffed she carried her plate and she walked away as Ollie shook his head.
"What's going on here? Where is everyone?" asked Curtis as he walked into the dining room from the second entrance.
"Maddie happened, that's what" said Ollie as he scoffed.
"You should really stop enabling her" said Curtis.
"Maddie started it, I did nothing" said Ollie.
"Right, you replying her is nothing" said Curtis.
"Curtis you know how horrible Maddie is, she's impossible not to reply to" said Ollie.
"Just do what I do, ignore her most times" replied Curtis.
"Yeah, thanks for the advice Curtis, but she knows not to mess with you, anyway, I have a meeting, see you later" said Ollie as he got up.
"Mhmm" said Curtis as Ollie walked out of the dining room.
…
Stella was in her office working when Curtis walked into her office lazily and he sat down across her as she looked at him.
"What did you do?" asked Curtis.
"What do you mean?" asked Stella in confusion.
"You did something, I can see it in your eyes, what did you do?" asked Curtis.
"There is no way that you can tell that I did something just by looking at my eyes" said Stella.
"You just admitted to it, what did you do Stella?" asked Curtis as Stella sighed.
"Fine, you caught me" said Stella as she wondered just how Curtis knew that she had done something.
"I called Clove to come and meet me" said Stella.
"And why exactly would you do that?" asked Curtis as he looked like he had been expecting it.
"I mean it has been a week, and I feel some uneasiness, what If Selene figures out that she did not succeed in killing her? Then she would go after her, and Clove does not deserve to be killed again, she did nothing wrong, so it would be best for us to have her close by, so we can protect her" said Stella.
"Mhmm, and the second reason?" asked Curtis.
"I think that Maddie should get a chance to know her mother, outside of everything that concerns Azazel, and Annie Matt and Prince Oliver agree with me, and Maddie seems more calm about the possibility" said Stella.
"Alright, and have you thought about what you would say to Clove when she meets Maddie?" asked Curtis.
"Well that is an easy fix, no big deal" said Stella.
"You do know that Maddie will not be happy with this" said Curtis.
"I know, but I will call her and explain to her, and I will also tell her that this is what I am doing as a way to protect Clove this time" said Stella as she smiled.
"You know that I don't agree with you Stella, this can cause a lot of problems, especially with Maddie" said Curtis.
"Well you don't have to worry about that Curtis, because I am sure Annie will be able to convince Maddie" said Stella with a smile as Curtis shook his head.
"Why do you want this to happen so bad?" asked Curtis.
"Because I feel like in a way that both Maddie and Clove are victims of Azazel, but they don't realize it, they are mother and daughter, and a mother always loves her child, no matter what" said Stella as Curtis sighed.
"You do know that this could end up blowing in your face right? And Maddie could end up hating you" said Curtis.
"I know, and what if it doesn't? then a mother daughter relationship would be mended" said Stella with a smile.
"You and Annie are the same" said Curtis as he sighed and he shook his head.
"Because we both know how important this is" said Stella.
"Well whatever you say, not like I can stop you, you have already done it" said Curtis.
"When will she get here?" asked Curtis.
"By afternoon" said Stella.
"Then I suggest you speak to Maddie now, or else, she would go overboard if she just saw Clove here without any warning" said Curtis.
"I agree with you Curtis, you are right, can you please call her for me?" asked Stella as she smiled.
"You know, I am not Captious who does your every bidding" said Curtis.
"And what is that supposed to mean?" asked Stella.
"You know what I mean Stella" said Curtis.
"I don't" said Stella as Curtis stood up and he shook his head.
"I will be back soon, you better have a good explanation for Maddie" said Curtis as he was more worried about Maddie's stability, she had a lot of baggage, a lot of thoughts, he just didn't want that being played on with unfair situations such as these.
"I will, thank you Curtis" said Stella as she smiled and Curtis walked out of her office, while she wondered what he meant by his reference to Captious.
"I don't know what you mean Curtis, I never know what you mean" said Stella as she shook her head and she shrugged off her thoughts.
