The man held his bow tightly in his hand as he aimed it for the targets, he had four of them set in a far distance from him.
He took a deep breath, as he closed his eyes and he opened them up again as he put his arrow in place, he pulled back the string of his bow, as he let it go with a mighty force as it went straight into the red point of the target, he had hit a bullseye, but he did not stop there.
In one swift motion, he took another arrow out of the quiver on his back as he took another arrow and he shot it at the next target, and at the next, and he went back to the first target and he shot another arrow straight for his first one as his arrow tore right through his first one in a clean split, and he did the same with the other targets.
"Wohooo, go Master go" said Alina as she shouted and she clapped as the man turned to see her standing in a distance as he shook his head and he sighed as he walked to his targets and he looked at his handiwork, he was satisfied with what he was able to do today, he removed his arrows from the target as he put them back in his quiver, he would ask Alina to mend them for him, as a punishment.
Annie, Maddie, Ollie, Matt and Curtis were all surprised, that guy was not just skilled with a bow and arrow, he was the bow and arrow, the way he moved to swiftly, they were in awe and as well scared of the amount of skill that man had.
"You guys wait here, let me go greet my Master first" said Alina with a smile as she swiftly jumped over the little wooden fence and she ran in the field to go and meet her master.
"Good Afternoon Master" said Alina as she stood in front of her master and she bowed he head as he looked at her with a cold expression on his face.
"Hmm, you are late" he said with a hint of anger in his tone, although he did not show it on his face, he looked at cold as ever.
"I am sorry Master, I did try my best to return quickly" said Alina as she raised her head to look at him with a sweet smile.
"But Master, you are great, you have beaten your last record" said Alina as she smiled, she hoped that her true flattery would work, although she was sure that it would not, her master did not care for flattery at all.
"I did not ask you if I was great" he said.
"Where did you go to?" he asked as he removed his quiver from his back and he gave it to Alina as she carried them.
"I… I went to the forest" said Alina as she bowed her head, she knew that she could not lie to him.
"Alina, I have told you many times, I do not like you going to the forest, it is not safe there" he said with an angry expression.
"I am sorry Master, but I could not help myself, the forest is just so wonderful and peaceful" said Alina.
"If you are looking for wonder and peace, go to the waterfall, and not to the Forest, I am not able to follow you to the forest and watch you there" he said with anger.
"Oh but Master, the forest is just wonderful to be in, it is very quiet, besides Master, there is no danger there, not at all, I have been to every nook and cranny of the forest, it is perfectly safe" said Alina as she smiled and explained as her master sighed and he shook his head, Alina was helpless, she was too adventurous.
"Oh Master, please do not be upset with me, oh wise one, my only master, frowning does not suite your wonderful face my master" said Alina as she smiled and her master just shook his head.
"Come on Master, smile for me… please smile" said Alina as she smiled, she had to get him in a good mood first, before she told him what happened to her today.
"Alright fine Master, you won't smile, but I know that you are smiling on the inside" said Alina as she smiled and her Master turned to walk away.
"I broke eight of my arrows, fix them, as punishment for disobeying me and going to the forest, I need them fixed by tonight, or else, you will practice the whole day tomorrow" said the master.
"Oh alright Master, I deserve that, not to worry, I will fix your arrows by dinner time" said Alina as she smiled and her master wondered why this girl did not fear him at all, he had been too soft on her, way too soft.
"Oh Master, let me make you some tea to calm down, you really need it" said Alina as she followed after her master.
"Mhmm" said her master.
"Oh Master, before I forget, I met some new friends in the forest, they are over there" said Alina as she pointed to where Annie, Maddie, Ollie, Curtis and Matt were standing as her master turned to look in that direction as he saw five people he had never met before.
"They are strangers, I brought them here to meet you, its actually a very funny story how I met them" said Alina as she was a chatterbox whenever she was with her master.
"Alina, how can you just make friends with strangers?" asked her master as he stopped walking and he turned to face her.
"Oh Master, they are very nice people, very, very nice people, believe me, especially the black haired girl with green eyes, she is as nice as she is beautiful" said Alina as she smiled.
"What did I say about strangers Alina?" asked her master as he turned to look at her.
"Be careful of them" said Alina.
"Oh but Master, please speak to them first, they are very nice, please believe me, they are even in the same age range as I am" said Alina as she laughed and her master sighed.
"Alright fine, let me go and meet them" said her master as Alina smiled and she followed after him as he walked to where Annie, Maddie, Ollie, Matt and Curtis were all standing.
"Hello, my name is Ivor, my student Alina here tells me that she met you in the forest, welcome" said the master named Ivor as he bowed his head and he raised it up again, he had short brown hair, brown eyes, and just like Alina did, he wore a cloak, except for the fact that the colour of his cloak was brown.
"Nice to meet you Ivor" said Curtis as he spoke up for them.
"My name is Curtis, this is Annie, Maddie, Matt, and Prince Oliver" said Curtis as he introduced them all.
"I hear that you are strangers" said Ivor as Maddie, Annie, Ollie and Matt let Curtis do all the talking, after all he was the oldest here.
"Yes we are" said Curtis as he replied.
"Where do you come from?" asked Ivor as Alina watched Curtis and her master have a conversation with a happy smile on her face.
"From the Witch Realm, the capital" replied Curtis.
"Interesting" said Ivor.
"What brings you all the way here?" asked Ivor.
"Actually, we are only passing by, we have not yet reached our destination" said Curtis as he gave a vague answer, they still did not know if they could trust this man, or Alina as well.
"I see" said Ivor.
"Well welcome to our humble colony, we are simple inhabitant of the great Caligo" said Ivor as he gave a quick smile.
"Thank you" said Curtis as he nodded his head.
Ivor's eyes landed on Annie, there was something familiar about her, but he just did not know what, he could not pinpoint what exactly he found familiar about her.
"Hey Master, how about we invite them all to have tea with us?" asked Alina as she gave Ivor her puppy dog eyes look, even though they never worked, her master was far too strong in heart to melt at her cute eyes.
"Please master, please" said Alina as Ivor turned to look at Curtis.
"Would you be able to stay for tea?" asked Ivor.
"Of course they can" said Alina as she answered for them and they all turned to look at her as she laughed sheepishly.
"I mean, can you stay for tea?" asked Alina as she corrected herself and she pleaded with Curtis under her breath to please say yes as she gave him sign language signs.
"Yes, we can stay" said Curtis.
"Awesome!" said Alina as she felt like she was about to jump for joy.
"Alina, go and prepare some tea" said Ivor as he looked at Alina.
"Yes Master" said Alina as she nodded her head excitedly.
"Please follow me" said Ivor as he turned to look at Curtis and the rest and he led the way as they followed after him.
