Chereads / Annie Grey / Chapter 327 - I lost her

Chapter 327 - I lost her

"You lost your magic?" asked Matt as he could not believe what he was hearing right now, this was just unbelievable.

"*Sigh*, Yes… I did" said Annie as she sighed and she looked at Maddie and Matt who still could not believe what they were hearing.

"Wait, but Annie, how can you be so sure?" asked Maddie.

"There has to be some sort of mistake, maybe you didn't loose your magic" said Maddie as she was trying to find a solution, this was bad, really bad, Magic was the most important thing to a witch, it was what made them a witch in a first place, and if her magic was gone then… then what was she to do?

"No Maddie, believe me there is no mistake at all" said Annie as she sighed and she looked at Maddie.

"I have already discussed this with Aunt Stella and Curtis" said Annie.

"And they confirmed to me that I no longer have my magic" said Annie as she looked at Matt.

"And well before they told me that, my magic told me that I had lost my powers" said Annie.

"Your magic??" asked Matt as this was getting more confusing by the minute, didn't Annie say she lost her magic?? So how did her magic tell her that she had lost her magic?? This just made no sense.

"Yes… I know it sounds crazy, but while I was in my coma, I saw my magic" said Annie as she explained, because she did not blame Maddie and Matt for thinking she was crazy right now, she herself could not believe this, but she had to since this was her reality.

"She told me that I lost her" said Annie.

"Okay… okay" said Maddie as she was trying to take this all in, this sounded crazy, but their lives were not the most normal lives ever, so she had seen and heard even more crazier things, so of course she believed Annie.

"Did you magic at least tell you how to get your powers back?" asked Maddie as she hoped she did.

"Well No, I woke up before I could ask her anything else" said Annie as she sighed.

"I tried to see if I could see her again, but I failed" said Annie, she had slept trying to see if she could see her magic again like last time, but her magic was just so annoying, she did not show up when she truly needed her the most.

"There has to be some sort of way to reverse the spell" said Matt as he seemed to be thinking, he knew nothing about this at all.

"That is what I am trying to find out, and that's why I need everything there is to know about the revive spell" said Annie.

"You do not need to worry Annie, we are here to help you, and we will solve this, believe me" said Maddie as she smiled.

"Oh Thank you Maddie" said Annie as she smiled.

"And you too Matt" said Annie as she smiled, she knew that she could always count on them, no matter what, and she would do the same for them any day.

"I really love you guys" said Annie as she laughed.

"And we love you too" said Maddie as she smiled and Matt smiled.

"Alright, so chop, chop, enough mushy talk, we need to get down to business" said Maddie.

"Matt, you take the left corner of the library, I will take the right corner, and Annie can stay in the middle" said Maddie as she was going to do all it takes to make sure Annie got her magic back.

"Alright" said Matt as he moved to the left, and Maddie moved to the right while Annie stayed in the middle as they all began to search for anything on the revive spell.

"Ugh, I give up" said Maddie as she groaned and she plopped down on the couch of the library.

"I wish I didn't agree, but I also give up" said Matt as he sighed, they had been searching for the past hour now, and yet they had found nothing at all close to what they were looking for.

"I agree, this is tiring" said Annie as she sighed and she climbed down the ladder she used to get up to the highest peak of the shelf.

"I have found nothing, nothing at all" said Maddie.

"I even tried using a seeking spell, but it did not work at all, and so I thought that maybe the book that had the information we need must have been encrypted so no one could find it, but we have been here for an hour" said Maddie as she sighed.

"I think that the information we need is not in this library" said Annie as she seemed to be thinking.

"What do you mean Annie?" asked Matt as he looked at Annie.

"Well from what I know the revive spell is forbidden, and it would make sense that any book that has to do with it would be forbidden as well" said Annie as she looked at Matt and Maddie.

"So you are telling me that we just wasted out time searching for something that is obviously not here" said Maddie.

"Yes, I think that is the case" said Annie.

"Ughh, this is tiring" said Maddie as she groaned.

"So what do we do now?" asked Matt because they had made no progress at all.

"I have an idea of who might have the information we need on the revive spell" said Annie as she snapped out of her thoughts, only one person came to mind while she was thinking of what they could possibly do to get the information that they needed.

"Who??" asked Maddie as she looked at Annie in suspicion.

"Professor Sapiens" said Annie as she looked at Maddie and Matt.

"You think my Grandfather might have some information about this?" asked Matt as he looked at Annie.

"Well yes, it would make sense, he is a Professor after all, and his speciality is In the written text" said Annie as she looked at Matt, Sapiens knew anything and everything there was to know about spells and written text about spells.

"Yeah, you are right Annie" said Maddie as she realized what Annie was saying was true.

"Matt, you need to ask him if he knows anything about the revive spell" said Annie as she looked at Matt.

"Alright, I will go and ask him now since this is urgent" Matt.

"Thank you Matt" said Annie as she smiled at him, he was going the extra mile just for her.

"Anytime" said Matt as he smiled and he walked out of the library, he needed to see his Grandfather now.

"Oh Curtis, I really am sorry for keeping you waiting" said Stella as she sighed and she sat down at her desk.

"I had a meeting with the High Council, and it did not end in time" said Stella as she smiled.

"It is no worry at all" said Curtis as he smiled.

"Oh, you seem to be in a very good mood" said Stella as Curtis smiling came as a surprise to her, she could promise you that she had not seen him smile in a long time now.

"I am always like this" said Curtis.

"Oh don't pull my leg Curtis, you and I both know that you are worse than this" said Stella as she laughed.

"Oh haha, very funny Stella" said Curtis sarcastically.

"Now what is it that you needed to speak to me about?" asked Curtis.

"Oh well, right" said Stella as she sighed.

"It is something very delicate and important" said Stella as she made sure she had put up a sound barrier around her office, just in order to avoid eavesdropping.

"Alright…" said Curtis as he was waiting patiently for what Stella wanted to say.

"I did not say this yesterday night, well because I did not want to make Annie worry more than she already did" said Stella as she sighed and Curtis nodded.

"The thing is Curtis, when Annie woke up, I rushed to her, and I tried to transfer some of my energy to her to give her some strength" said Stella as she explained.

"But…" said Stella as she paused in worry.

"But what?" asked Curtis.

"I performed an energy transfer spell, and well as soon as I did, I could feel the energy leaving my body, but just as it was about to transfer, it suddenly stopped, and I felt my energy return back to me" said Stella.

"I did not want to alarm anyone at that time, but there was only one valid reason I could think of why that was so" said Stella.

"No magic is working on Annie anymore…" said Curtis as he finished Stella's sentence for her.

"My thoughts exactly" said Stella as she sighed.

"This is bad, very bad" said Curtis as he sighed, things were more serious than they had imagined.
