"I am here to serve you my lady" said Nia as she bowed her head down.
...
"Nia, tell me somethings about yourself" said Clove as she was seated on her bed, in her own tent, and Nia was cleaning.
"Well what do you want to know my lady?" asked Nia
"Anything, maybe start with your last name" said Clove
"And remember I told you to just call me Clove, and not Milady" said Clove
"No Milady, how can I do such??" said Nia as she looked like she was going to die if she addressed Clove by her name.
"*Sigh* Let me guess, you are afraid of what Aza will do if he finds you calling me by my name" said Clove, and Nia nodded shyly.
"Well he doesn't have to know, you can call me Clove when we are alone" said Clove
"And if you still don't feel comfortable with that, you can call me whatever you feel like" said Clove as she saw the hesitation on Nia's face.
"Okay Milady" said Nia as she bowed her head.
"So what is your last name?" asked Clove as she wanted to know more about Nia
"My name is Nia Tristitia" said Nia as she stood in front of Clove.
"Ahh I see" said Clove
"You can seat here with me" said Clove as she patted the side of the bed.
"No Milady, I prefer to stand" said Nia
"Okay if you say so" said Clove as she knew that this girl was not comfortable with her.
"Yes Milady" said Nia
"How old are you Nia?" asked Clove
"I am 18 Milady" said Nia
"She's 18? just 2 years older than Maddison" thought Clove to herself
"You look very young for 18" said Clove
"Thank you Milady" said Nia as she smiled at the compliment.
"What is your favourite colour?" asked Clove.
"I don't have one Milady" replied Nia
"Oh is that so?" asked Clove
"Yes Milady" replied Nia
"How come?" asked Clove.
"I do not know Milady, I just don't like colours" said Nia
"You don't like colours?" asked Clove as she laughed, this was the silliest thing that she had heard in a long time.
"Yes Milady" said Nia as she looked scared.
"No don't be scared, you are funny, that's why I am laughing" said Clove as she explained to Nia, as she saw that she was uncomfortable.
"Okay Milady" said Nia
"And what about your parents?" asked Clove.
There was Silence.
"It's okay if you don't want to talk about it" said Clove as she noticed that she may have overstepped her boundaries.
"No Milady, I am here to serve you" said Nia
"They passed away two years ago" said Nia as she tried to fight back her tears, but she failed.
"I'm so sorry" said Clove as she also began to cry
She of all people, knew how horrible it was to loose your parents, and especially at a young age, it was the worst feeling ever, and till today her parents death still pained her, so she knew how bad Nia felt.
"I'm so very sorry" said Clove as tears dropped from her eyes as she stood up and hugged Nia.
"It's going to be alright" she said
Nia was shocked, she was never comforted by anyone before, and she did not expect the wife of the most feared witch in all of the Witch Realm, to be the one to cry and comfort her,
"Thank you Milady" said Nia as she wiped her tears.
"It's no trouble, If you ever need to talk I am always here" said Clove.
"Thank you Milady" said Nia
"Milady, may I be excused?" asked Nia
"Of course" said Clove
"Thank you Milady" said Nia as she bowed and left.
...
"Aza dear, where did you find Nia?" asked Clove as she was sitting in Azazel's office.
"Nowhere in particular" said Azazel
"Okay" said Clove as she was used to his vague answers by now.
"So you chose her because she's also an orphan like me" said Clove as she observed Azazel closely
"No I chose her because she will be loyal to you" said Azazel
"Okay whatever you say Aza dear" said Clove
"Thank you" she said as she kissed him on the cheek.
"Well I will leave you to your work now, see you later Aza" said Clove as she waved to Azazel, as she left.
