Meanwhile in Annie and Maddie's room
"Oooh Maddie aren't you excited to go camping?" asked Annie as she smiled
"Haha well yes, but I have never been camping before" said Maddie shyly
"Ahh no worries, you are with an expert, me and my dad used to go Camping all the time back in Sunny Hills" said Annie
"Ahh that's cool, what about your mom?" asked Maddie
"Well she says that she is not an outdoorsy person and so she never went with us" said Annie as she laughed and Maddie laughed too
"Well it's true I am not an outdoorsy person and I do not regret it, you and your dad can go and get all muddy and dirty, and when you come back home I can clean both of you" said Mrs. Grey as she entered the girl's room.
"Ahh Aunt that is very funny" said Maddie as she laughed.
"Yes my dear, I remember one time when Annie was five and she and her father went out for one of their camping trips, when they came back they were seriously covered with mud and dirt, and when I asked John about it, he just laughed and dodged the question. I had to wash Annie twice especially behind her ears" said Mrs. Grey as she remembered that fond memory.
"Haha" said Maddie as he burst out laughing
"Hey, it's not that funny, stop laughing" said Annie as she hit Maddie's arm lightly
"No no, yes it is, I can still remember your little cute face covered with mud , and your hair, your hair was another story entirely" said Mrs. Grey
"Till this day only one person can tell us for sure what really happened, but he refuses to and keeps his moth shut" said Mrs. Grey helplessly.
"Well good, it's a Father daughter secret then" said Annie as she grinned
"Ahh, Aunty, why aren't you an outdoorsy person?" asked Maddie as she finally calmed down and stopped laughing.
"Well I think it's mostly because in my family, I was taught to be calm and always sit still, not like the two Monkeys I happen to be stuck with. They can never sit still in one place, they rather fidget around or find something to play with" said Mrs. Grey
"Ahh, how did I get stuck with the two of you?" said Mrs. Grey as she sighed.
"Well it's because you Love us hehe" said Annie as she smiled
"Ahh, can I not?" asked Mrs. Grey
"No no you cannot, no take backs" said Annie as she hugged her Mother
This was such a wholesome sight, Maddie had grown up with everything she always wanted.
But now when she has seen the kind of bond that Annie has with her parents. Maddie felt like there was a hole, a gap that she could never fill, what was the point of having magic when you could not use it to bring your deepest desires to a reality.
All Maddie wanted was to have normal parents, that loved her and there were not out to kill her best friend, she wanted parent's like Annie. It was at times like this that Maddie really felt the meaning of the word sadness.
Maddie smiled, but it was not a smile of happiness, rather it was a smile of despair.
Mrs. Grey saw Maddie smiling from the sidelines and she said
"Aww dear, come in here"
Maddie looked around and pointed to herself in confusion
"Of course you, who else is here?" asked Mrs. Grey as she laughed
Maddie came over and joined the hug, it felt warm, just like her heart right now.
"Aww, my dear, no need for you to be shy, you are practically family" said Mrs. Grey
"Thank you Aunt" said Maddie as she smiled a genuinely happy smile
"Your welcome dear, Now, I have to get going, Your Father said that he was going to teach me how to survive in the wild... whatever that means" said Mrs. Grey as she broke their hug.
"Okay Mom" said Annie
"Okay Aunt, see you later" said Maddie
"See you later girls" said Mrs. Grey as she smiled and left the room.
"Well Now that my mom is gone let's get ready" said Annie as she turned to look at Maddie
"Aww what? Aren't we already fine with the way we are dressed?" asked Maddie
"No no, you cannot expect to wear such clothes in the deep, black, cold woods of the Vampire Realm" said Annie
Maddie was wearing a yellow knee length dress and her hair was in a ponytail.
"Well when you put it like that, then I am not ready" said Maddie
"Haha, No worries that's why you have me" said Annie as she smiled
"Haha yes yes" said Maddie
"Well then let's get started hehe. Maddie Wolf Welcome to Annie's Wilderness Survival School, first Lesson of the day is dressing like a survivalist, soo are you ready?" asked Annie as she pretended to be serious.
"Yes Ma'am" said Maddie as she saluted and the girls cracked in laughter.
Later in the day.
Lucinda and Evie were already outside the Castle and they seemed to be packing and getting ready for the trip.
"Evie are you and siblings ready?" asked Lucinda as she zipped up a backpack
"Yes Mom" said Evie
"Oooh Mom how long are we going to be Camping for?" asked Evie
"Well we should be back by tomorrow morning" said Lucinda
"Haha Yayyyyyyyy" said Evie
"This is going to be so cool, and especially with Aunt Belle" said Evie
"Aunt Belle is the besttt hehe" said Evie as she giggled
"Haha of course I am" said Bella as she walked over to where Lucinda and Evie were.
"Aunttt hehe" said Evie as she hugged Bella
"Haha how is my new favorite girl?" asked Bella
"Haha I am good Aunt" said Evie
"Ahh you two are just too alike" said Lucinda as she sighed helplessly
"Yes of course we are, birds of a feather flock together" said Bella
"Right!!" said Evie as she agreed with her Aunt.
Lucy just sighed helplessly once again, these two really were a handful.
"Ahh don't worry my dear, your mom is just jealous that I have now devoted all my love to you and your siblings" said Bella as she smiled at Lucy and Lucy smiled back in annoyance.
"Hiii Aunt Luc and Aunt Belle and Evie" said Annie as she came out of the Castle and Maddie was right behind her.
"Hii Everyone" said Maddie
"Hello girls" said Lucinda and Bella
"Oooh Hiiii, oooh you guys look so ready" said Evie
Maddie was wearing military green sweatpants and a black top, with a pale green zip-up hoodie, and her blonde hair was kept in a ponytail, while Annie was wearing black sweatpants and a purple top and she wore a black cap.
"Hehe Thank you! All Thanks to Annie's Wilderness Survival School" said Maddie as she laughed
"Aww, No fair if I knew that Annie was dressing you up, then I would have joined you two" said Evie
"No no we were just fine without you, Thank you very much" said Maddie
"Yeah yeah" said Evie
"Hello Everyone" said Matt as his siblings, Mr. and Mrs. Grey came along with him
"Hiii" said Everyone as they greeted each other.
"It's only Dad and Uncle Jake we are waiting for" said Levi
"Yes that is true where are they?" asked Lucinda
"Well me and Uncle Jake were together for a while until I went to get Matt, and I haven't seen dad since Breakfast" said Levi
"Ahh sorry for keeping everyone waiting" said Lucas as Jacob followed behind him
"Ahh no worries dad" "No worries Uncle" they said
Meanwhile Bella was looking at someone in particular... it was Jacob.
"Hey Uncle Jake you look so weird" said Evie
"What how do I look weird?" he asked
"Well it's the clothes" said Evie
"What about my clothes?" asked Jacob
Jacob truly did look different and it was because he was wearing casual clothes' or once, he wore jeans and a grey shirt, Jacob usually wore official clothes and the children had never seen him in normal clothes.
"They are different and casual and it makes you look more handsome Uncle" said Evie and everyone nodded in agreement with her.
Bella did not want to admit it but, Jacob did look more handsome with casual clothes, it made him appear more relaxed and approachable, but anyone who knew Jacob would know that was far from the truth.
"Well Thank you" said Jacob
"Okay okay now, let's get going" said Lucas
"Okay" said Everyone as they entered into the Carriage.
