"Then what do you want?" asked the young man the dark magic said that he needed blood, and just not any kind of blood he needed the blood of a Grey, the young man's eyes went wide how could they ask of such a thing?? he knew his friend had moved to another place, but his hunger for power overwhelmed him
"So what did he do??" asked Maddie in anticipation
"Well he did it he killed his friend and in exchange for more power like the dark magic told him" said Azazel as he looked out through the big window in his office, he had his back turned to Maddie as he was talking so she couldn't see his face.
"The young Man didn't even feel any remorse with the dark magic flowing through his veins, due to his friend Marrying a human, there was only one Grey with powers every 2 generations and he needed more power so he kept on killing more and more of them.
Word escaped to the High Council that members of the Grey family had been killed and this declared war on the young Man, he used all his power and managed to escape.
After a few years he came back to the witch world and started a family, he still needs to use a member of the Grey family to renew his powers and that's the end of the story" said Azazel
"So tell me Maddison who is the young man in this story??" asked Azazel
Maddie hesitated to answer and said "The young Man is you Father"
"Yes Correct now knowing all of this then tell me why i wanted you to befriend her" said Azazel
"Be- be- because you want to kill Annie" said Maddie as she stuttered and tried to keep a straight face.
"Correct dear Child and let me remind you that you are the daughter of the great Azazel and you can never change that your loyalty belongs only to me do you hear that??" he asked as he turned around to face Maddie
"Ye--Yes Father" said Maddie as she looked down.
"Good now you may leave" he said and with That Maddie ran out of the room.
Meanwhile at Annie's house, her parents had just been woken up from their sleep for a family ( plus Matt) meeting.
Curtis explained all that happened to them and they were shocked they could not believe all that Curtis had told them.
"So now what do we do??" asked Mrs. Grey as she was holding her daughter as if to cage her from the outside world
"Well i have spoken to Stella about it and she says that we should move to the witch world that way we would be close to protection" said Curtis
"Yes that's a good Idea" said Mr. Grey
"But i have school, i can't just skip the rest of the term and fail just because some evil guy is after me" said Annie as she tried to break free from her mother's hold
"Yes i know, but you forget that school is closing for a holiday in 2 weeks and to keep you safe Matt must be with you at all times, you must be careful with Maddie and you must come straight back home everyday, no going anywhere else except i am with you okay" said Curtis
"Okay" said Annie
"Why is Matt here??" asked Mr. Grey
"Well it's because it concerns him too, when we have time, we will go and talk to his parents about it together with the whole Family" said Curtis
"Okay fine" said Mr. Grey
"Matt dear it's getting late you should be going home now" said Mrs. Grey
"Yes Mrs. Grey, Mr. Grey, Goodnight Annie goodnight Curtis i will you tomorrow" said Matt
"Okay Bye Matt dear be careful and greet your parents for me" said Mrs. Grey
"Yes i will" said Matt as he got up to leave
"Goodnight Matt" said Annie
"Goodnight" said Matt and with that he walked out the front door and left.
"Okay for more important matters, Curtis since you're a human now i think it's time for you to have your own room" said Mr. Grey
"No John it's fine i can just turn back to my true form" said Curtis
"No i think that's too stressful to be turning back and forth all the time so i agree with John" said Mrs. Grey
"I agree with them Curtis" said Annie as she chipped in
"Okay then" said Curtis
"Yes great so you can sleep in the basement for now, there is a spare bed there just manage it until i can clear out the spare room upstairs" said Mr. Grey
"Okay" said Curtis
"Yes and now about the fact that Annie needs protection all the time, You and Matt must be with her at all times not letting her out of your sight" said Mr. Grey
"Which means you have to go to school with her" said Mr. Grey
"But how will he do that dad??" asked Annie
"Well i have been thinking about it and i can talk to the Principal for him to just attend the same classes with you because he is homeschooled" said Mr. Grey
"Oooh that's a great Idea" said Annie
"But then how do we explain our relationship??" asked Annie
"Well it's easy we will just say that he's your cousin" said Mr. Grey
"Yes okay that could work" said Annie as she tried to convince Curtis to answer.
Curtis could sense the members of the Grey Family looking at him intently for his answer so he said "Okay it's fine" and they all cheered
"Okay now everyone time to go to bed there is school in the morning" said Mr. Grey
"Okay Dad goodnight Mom, goodnight Curtis" said Annie as she walked upstairs and went to bed
"You too Curtis you should go get some sleep" said Mrs. Grey
"I appreciate your thoughtfulness but i am a 1000 year old book and i do now need to sleep" said Curtis
"Mhmm Curtis i know all that but currently you are in a body of a 16 year old and they need sleep and so as the man of the house i order you to go to bed" said Mr. Grey
"What just happened??" asked Curtis to himself "Last time i checked i used to change your diapers" said Curtis as he whined "Now you're ordering me to sleep so now fair" said Curtis as he murmured under his breath and stood up from the sofa to go to sleep.
"Goodnight" said Mr. Grey "Mhmm" said Curtis sarcastically
Meanwhile back in the Wolf Mansion, Maddie had just brushed her teeth and she was in her Pajamas she climbed into her bed and closed her eyes, but she couldn't sleep all she could think about was the story, the story that her Father had told her about himself.
Maddie was angry, she was angry at herself, her so called parents and the world in general "Why did you do this to me?? Why did you even give birth to me if you wanted to make my life so horrible" shouted Maddie as she threw her pillow at her door.
And before she knew it tears started dropping from her eyes, she tried to stop herself but she just couldn't "Why why did you let finally make one good friend and in the end it turns out you have to kill her why??" Maddie sobbed her light blue eyes very teary.
"Father, Mother you are not fair, it would have been better to tell me your motive before i got so emotionally attached" "I can't bring myself to hurt Annie, i just can't she's my friend" "She's my friend" Said Maddie as she continued to sob
Maddie stopped crying she wiped away her tears and took out her phone "If my Father wants me to hurt you then i won't!" she said as she stared typing
"Hi Annie how are you? did you get home safe, i just wanted to tell you that i will be very busy tomorrow, so you might not see me, goodnight and take care!" said Maddie as she typed "And Send" she said a she pressed the send button.
Maddie put her phone down closed her eyes and went to bed.
"Goodnight" she said a she drifted into Slumber.
