Chapter 2
"Annie come down for breakfast" said Mrs. Grey Annie's mother
"I will be down in a minute Mom" replied Annie
Quickly before thinking she threw the book in the washing machine with the dirty clothes upstairs as Annie sat down for breakfast.
Mrs. Grey asked "Hey Annie what happened yesterday? when we came back from work you were out cold in your room?"
Mrs. Grey was a very smart woman she had a degree in psychology and could tell when anyone was lying especially her daughter, in fact she was the school's psychologist.
Mr. Grey said "Hey Lisa Hun stop questioning Anne I bet she was just tired from PE yesterday and that's why she slept so early"
Ahh Mr. John Grey an easy going man very gentle and the football team coach he was star athlete back in his day and he retired and coaches in his old school talk about Graduating to come back to school as a native of the town Sunset Village he knew the town as the back of his hand and he would often take Annie out and show her the forest that he grew up in.
Back to the current situation... Annie said "Yes Mom, Dad is right Yesterday's PE was very tiring and difficult and I just needed to rest"
"Hmmm okay Dear if you say so anyway finish eating and lets go to school" said Mrs. Grey
"Phew" Annie said she dodged that one Thanks to her Dad😬How could she explain what happened to her yesterday? it was too much.
