Like rodents who always fall into traps ─ that's how David, Lieutenant Joffrey and the other men fell into the trap set by Francisco. They followed the range rover to where it was, they thought when the GPS stopped perhaps Francisco was out of gas or he just went somewhere to take a shit. But the reality is he abandoned the range rover five hours ago and hoped on a bus which took him straight to the airport and then he was off to Brazil.
Lieutenant Joffrey called me when I was inside my office, we had just come back from Malibu since we had a meeting with wedding planners and flower people, Diana wanted it to be perfect and we didn't have that much time, it was eighteenth of December and we had only a week to organize everything for our big wedding.
"It's Lieutenant speaking" he introduced himself since the number was private.
I sighed and leaned on my chair "Tell me he's dead"
