Like a teenager who leaves his parents' house to go and venture on his own, seek his own dreams and better himself, Diana felt like she was leaving the place she called home all over again. Demi and Jared were the definition of home for her ─ they have been for years even before she met Jacob or me. These two were the pillars of her strength and something close to what is famously known as "true love" because she didn't doubt her friend's loyalty and love not even once. But at that time toxicity had taken over Demi and she was being controlling, and Diana hated it.
When Diana left the apartment with just a small backpack with nowhere to go she called me, and we talked.
"I don't where to go Marcus…" she told me "Not that I don't have money, it's just…"
