As I'm riding on top of Cooter I feel a strangely comforting feeling. I subconsciously lay face down on his back fur which feels soft to the touch. Before I knew it, we made it to what seemed to be a decent-sized hut made of wood. As soon as Cooter stops, I hop off of his back. Cooter turns and licks my face before he goes inside the hut. After a short while later he comes out with an older-looking man with silver hair and like his son with deep ocean-blue eyes. He had what seemed to be wolf ears on the top of his head and a long mangy tail with streaks of white.
He stands apprehensively as he gazes at me. "What business do you have here with me and my son."
"My name is Drew and I'm the Beast God that God has sent to repopulate the Beast race," I tell with an emotionless face. I don't really have any proof so I could only hope he would believe my words. As expected, though he didn't, "Do you really expect me to believe the words of a stranger I just met, if you are the so-called Beast God then prove it," he crosses his arms staring daggers into me.
" I don't have any specific proof but if we were to have sex, I'd be able to produce children in a matter of hours," with not even a hint of embarrassment on my face he looked at me with a face of different emotions that I can't really pinpoint. A moment later his face adopted one of thought before he decided what to do. "Disregarding what you just said I'll let you in to talk under one condition, you have to show me your ears and tail."
"That'll be a problem, when I was born into this world, I acquired the ability of concealment but until I learn magic I won't be able to reveal them unless I have sex." Yet again he looks at me apprehensively not quite sure of my intentions.
[Host, try telling him that his son is your familiar. In this world, the only known existence to be able to make other beasts familiars is the Beast God. He will be able to confirm this by smelling the scent.]
Deciding to trust the system I tell him exactly that. He turns towards his son and sniffs his coat; he then looks at me and walks over. "If you're lying to me, I'll kill you on the spot."
"I understand."
He brings his nose to my neck and sniffs. I have to say though it's a little weird for someone to be so close to me only to smell my scent. After smelling me, he takes a couple of steps back and I notice that his face is a little pink in color. 'Is he embarrassed, but why?'
*Cough* *Cough* Collecting himself, " I've decided to let you in to talk, however I will deem if you are trustworthy or not with my own eyes." He crosses his arms and walks back into the hut. Cooter stands beside me and licks my face. Strangely I think I'm getting used to his slobbering.
I followed Cooter's father inside with Cooter right behind me. Despite the outside appearance, the interior was quite homey. There was a large bed of what seemed to be hay in the corner, a small wooden table with four chairs in the middle, and a fireplace at the back of the hut.
"Take a seat and don't touch anything," he walks over to the fireplace and lights it. While he's lighting the fire I decide to take a look at his status.

His titles actually explain a lot of his personality. "System, what's the average level of demi-humans and beasts."
[The average level for demi-humans is about 15, while for Beasts it's about 50.]
So how did Rex get to such a high level isn't he demi-human?
[No, while it is true that demi-humans have a human-like appearance in rare cases some beasts obtain a human transformation skill. Getting your detection ability to a certain level will allow you to tell the difference between the two.]
Rex comes to the table with two clay cups that seem to have tea in them. "I haven't had guests in a while so you're going to have to excuse my poor hospitality," he frowned handing me a cup. 'Yep, definitely tsundere' "It's fine I don't really mind," I took a sip from the cup but immediately after setting it back on the table. What was supposed to taste like tea was tasteless. Looking like he didn't notice he also put his cup down while taking a seat. "So, what is it that you want from me?"
"I guess I want to make an exchange, in return for protecting me I'll give you children." He turns away from me, "What makes you think I'd want more children, my precious Cooter is all I need."
" You say that, but your body seems to be saying something else," even with turning his head I can see his deep crimson face from here. "Shut up, we can't even do that, there's nowhere for Cooter to go," he faces me and barks. "So, you don't have a problem doing it you just don't want Cooter to see your embarrassed face," I made a sudden revelation about this tsundere, 'he's a perv'.
"You listen here, I'm the man of this house so you should show me some respect," he barks angrily at me. Completely, disregarding his demand, "So, as long as I figure out what to do with Cooter, we'll have a deal?"
"I guess, but good luck with that I doubt you'll be able to do anything," he crosses his arms in disdain.
"System, what can we do?"
[Since he's a familiar he should be able to hide in your body. A unique ability of the Beast God is that familiars can hide in your body, and it will look like a tattoo on the outside.]
I tell Rex what the system said, and he has a look of contemplation on his face. "I'll agree to it on one condition," his face turns crimson again, "I want you to call me Mr. Rex from now on.
"Alright then, please take good care of me." A little annoyed he shoos me away to deal with Cooter I guess to give him time to prepare himself.
