Chereads / The Twins' Pet / Chapter 27 - Dawn

Chapter 27 - Dawn

BOOM!!!

The silhouette of lightning is visible through the glass windows at Nakula penthouse. The thunders make the window panels vibrate lightly. Nakula does not care, he's still focused on his training.

"One hundred ... one hundred and one ...." Nakula counts his one-hand stand push-up.

For several days Nakula had been actively practicing fighting, especially training his muscles. His defeat against Aska and Yoris make him realize that there are still a lot of werewolves and strong enemies out there.

Bulbs of sweat flow from the temples to the chin, until they finally drops onto the exercise mat.

"One hundred fifty." Nakula finishes when reaches 150.

Nakula wipes his sweat with a towel. His burly body feels very hot, sweat still dripping from his perfectly formed muscles. The back of his body fulfills with several scars that are irregular.

Nakula looks at the rain from the window, it's raining so hard, maybe there will be a storm tonight.

Nakula's step stops in front of the refrigerator, he sorts the contents and ends at an apple. He takes one and eats it.

Zeez ...!

Nakula's instincts tickle him again.

"Shit!!" Nakula stops biting his apple, he curses to himself.

"One o'clock in the morning? Who is fighting at this midnight ?!" Nakula grabs his shirt and goes.

***** THE TWIN'S PET *****

Dominic lays on a rock upstream. With all his strength he creeps up onto the land. The sharp branch stuck in his stomach from last night.

"ARRRGGHHH !!!!" Dominic screams as he pulls the stick out of his stomach.

"Huh ... hah ... hah!" Dominic's breath is heavy, his consciousness is a little foggy.

After falling from a vertical cliff Dominic hit the rocks and passed out. He was carried away by the swift currents of the river upstream.

"Are you still alive?" A man with blue raped jeans comes closer.

"Yoris ??!" Dom is still trying to gather his consciousness.

"You lost?"

"Yes, I lost. Are you here to finish me??"

"Well, yeah, sorry, it's not a personal problem, Okay." Yoris gets up, he removes the dagger from the leather sheath.

"Hey Yoris !!! I have something to tell you."

"Hmm?"

"Gin's son, he has a mate now. You know Yoris, her eyes remind me of her." Dom gets up, gathering his strength and spirit. Even if he has to die, he doesn't want to die as a loser.

Thumb ...!! Thumb!!

Yoris immediately stops his footsteps after hearing Dominic's words. The only woman she know is non other than her.

"What are you saying?"

"Yes, they are very similar. Her eyes are round and bold black, so it feels like I want to poke them out. Hahahaha!" Dominic laughs.

"Impossible ...!!" Yoris stared, still trying to deny to himself that everything he heard was a lie.

"Don't you want to admit it ?? Your sin !!" Dominic got up.

"She's not a sin. And since you know everything you have to die, Dom."

"Come on, die now or tomorrow is the same for me. There's no longer Shiera beside me." Dominic took a swing against Yoris.

CRASAK

SRAK.

The sound of footsteps piercing branches and bushes was heard approaching. A well-built body suddenly pushed out of the grove of forest trees. Through the morning mist which was still thick.

"Looks like someone wants to join." Suddenly Yoris pulled back his hand.

"Ah, hello, uncle." Says Nakula, it seems that he was very happy to meet an old friend.

"Hello, Kid, do you look healthy?" Yoris looked at Nakula then Dominic.

"Do I have to look sick every time we meet?" Nakula jumped high beside Yoris, and asked in surprise.

"Who is he, Yoris ?!" Dominic asked, he was a little surprised because this child's face resembled Sadewa.

"Gin's son. He killed Aska. Didn't you guys fight last night?" Yoris was confused.

"No !! I fought Sadewa. So I fought the wrong person ??? !!! Shiera had to die because I chose the wrong enemy ??!" Dominic regretted his mistake.

"Sadewa ???" Yoris was confused too.

"Sadewa ?? What did you do to him?" Nakula looked full of anger, his eyes glistening reddish brown.

"Those eyes ??? No way !!!" Dominic exclaimed, why did nonsense things keep happening to him overnight.

"Hey, Kid. What's your name?" asked Yoris.

"Nakula, I'm Sadewa's twin brother."

"Ah I see. You guys finish it. I'll sit there." Yoris nodded understandingly, he stepped back and sat on a large rock under the pine tree.

"What did you do to Sadewa?" Nakula choked up Dominic's body.

"I think I killed him," Dominic teased.

Nakula's anger ignited. His power was suddenly abundant, even though the moon had just opened perfectly.

"No way !! I don't feel the break with him ...!" Nakula trusted his instincts as Sadewa's twin.

"Maybe your instincts are getting blunt." Dominic insulted Nakula, making Nakula even more angry. With all his strength Nakula pinched Dominic's neck, he gripped hard and sprouted sharp nails. The sound of the flesh tearing could be heard as the sharp nails stuck into Dominic's throat.

Dominic struggled, it was very painful and excruciating. Without expression, Nakula still stuck his nails in. Slowly cutting the veins in Dominic's neck, blood trickled down Nakula's arm. Nakula was very happy to see Dominic's face tormented by the pain.

CRACK ...

Nakula separated Dominic's body and head. The blood was spurting out again, there was a little splatter on Yoris's face.

"Damn you, kid !!" said Yoris.

"Oops! Sory, Uncle." Nakula smiled. He threw Dominic's body and head into the river.

His blood turned the clear water red.

"You psycho. You are very similar to Regina !!" Yoris got up.

"You're also psycho," accused Nakula.

"I never tortured my prey before I killed it." Yoris shouted.

"You tortured me with poison."

"I gave you the antidote didn't I?"

"Hey, Uncle." Nakula followed Yoris to the pick up car.

"What else?"

"Do you know where is my mother's grave?" Nakula closed the car door when Yoris was about to open it.

Yoris was silent for a moment, as if thinking of something.

"Haaa ... Come in !!" Yoris ordered Nakula to get into his black pickup truck. This off-road car drives down the muddy roads out towards the highway. Mud splashes on the body of the car.

Nakula looked towards the outside window, dawn was almost breaking. The cold wind messed up his hair. Yoris was still driving casually. The two of them enjoyed the silence on this journey.

"Aren't you afraid I will kill you?" Yoris broke the silence.

"No, the last time, I was not ready. Now my mind is healthy." Nakula looked at the old man beside him casually.

"Hahaha ... I like your confidence, kid." Yoris smiled.

"Hehe ... Wait until I make love to my mate. You must be amazed by my strength, Uncle."

"Do you have a mate?"

"Not yet, but soon." Nakula's smile was happy, he pictured Liffi's beautiful face in his mind.

"Apparently you have a twin? What's his name? Sadewa? He already has a mate?" Yoris tried to get information about Sadewa.

Dominic said Sadewa's mate was very similar to someone he knew. Yoris's curiosity was intrigued, he had to find the truth about Sadewa's mate. Yoris could only hope that it wasn't her.

"Well we are twins, he's my father's son, I'm my mother's son." Nakula smiled bitterly.

"Mate? He has a mate?" Yoris pushed.

"I don't know, maybe not yet."

"O ...." Yoris felt relieved, but still left a question.

"Is there a woman beside him?"

"Pet? Apparently not, Sadewa is not the type who likes to play with women, like me." Nakula smiled proudly.

"That's not something to be proud of, Kid." Yoris smiled too.

"Since when did we become so close, Uncle?"

"Don't feel like I'm supporting you, because I could kill you at any time."

"Can you tell me about these people? What is their goal, Uncle? And what is your goal?"

"My goal is just an insignificant thing." Yoris looked back at the road in front of him.

"Which pack are they from, Uncle."

"You won't understand, Kid. They have been around since before your father became an Alpha."

"Isn't Dad pack the oldest pack?"

"There is still a sky above the sky, right?"

"..." Nakula fell silent at Yoris's answer. In the end, he chose to remain silent, Yoris would not be so stupid as to reveal his current alliance.

The sun began to rise, shining a dazzling light. Nakula was silent again, didn't ask many questions, and so did Yoris.
