***** THE TWINS' PET *****
Nakula and Sadewa, twins. Two figures from Wayang stories in Indonesia, and originally come from Hindi people. The Hindu community considers them the children of Asvina, the God of Health. (IAST, Nakula, Sahadeva)
Nakula has always been famous for his handsome face and cheerful demeanor. Sadewa is famous for his intelligence and wisdom in thinking something.
But this story is not talking about them.
This story is about two monsters. Monsters who are very smart, strong, and handsome. They only borrow these names to live in the human world.

Rain is pouring so hard this night. Opposite from the hospital corridor which looks deserted. Nakula paces back and forth in front of the emergency room, wanting to tear himself apart. How could he is so blind with lust??! Even though Liffi is just a pet, not his mate.
A few hours ago, Nakula pushed his will to Liffi's weak and tiny body, so now the girl is bleeding and unconscious.
"Miss Liffi's family?" After a long waited. A doctor comes out of the emergency room.
"How's Liffi, Doc?" Nakula asks worriedly.
"Are you the husband of the patient?"
"...." Nakula can not answer it.
"You are her husband or not?" The doctor's question brings back Nakula's consciousness.
"I—yes, yes I am her husband." Nakula lies.
"Sorry, your wife miscarried. The fetus is still too small. You should be careful when having sexual activity if your wife is pregnant. Especially in the first trimester." The doctor gives Nakula some advice.
"What?? Pregnant?" Nakula can not believe it.
"I'm so sorry. Please, go to see your wife, she is ruined and needs you right now."
"Ah, Yes, Thank you."
Nakula enters and quickens his pace. Fangs extend out from the corners of his lips. Anger forces the fangs to come out. Nakula stops his steps when he is in front of Liffi's room, hearing Liffi cry makes his emotions disappear. His fangs shrink back in.
"Liffi..." Nakula softly calls the girl's name.
"Damn you, Naku!! You killed my child!" Liffi glances fiercely at Nakula.
Her pretty face is filled with anger and resentment. Liffi is well aware that she was alone in this world. The presence of a child wi no longer make her life feel lonely. But Nakula killed her child, even before Liffi knows of his existence.
"You killed my son!!!" Liffi accuses Nakula.
"Yeah, I killed him!!" Nakula shouts in emotion.
"Don't you care? Don't you feel guilty?" Liffi looks at Nakula's face blankly, there is a deep sadness in her black eyes.
"Why should I care? He's not necessarily my child, he could be Sadewa's child," Nakula growls. Jealousy takes over his heart again.
"Right, you're right...! It's not necessarily your seed, it's not necessarily Sadewa's either." Liffi looks away. "But he is my son, and I want him." Liffi speaks again. Softer, but more painful and bitter.
Before Nakula can respond to Liffi's words, a panic scream from a man is heard again.
"Liffi!!!" He looks so worried.
"Sadewa?" Liffi is shocked when she sees Sadewa's appearance in front of her.
"What are you doing here?" Nakula looks emotional, he rushes to Sadewa, his nails sharpening and lengthening.
"What did you do to Liffi?" Sadewa grabs Nakula by the collar. His fangs are elongated.
Liffi just smiles sarcastically seeing the bickering between the two. They are twins who were born on the same day and hour. Even fighting over the same woman.
"You guys go!! Get out and leave me!!" Liffi shoos the two away.
"You know I can't," Sadewa answers.
"Me too," says Nakula.
"Shut up!! I'm not your pet...! I'm not a woman that you can rotate in bed!!!" Liffi cries angrily.
"Liffi!!" both say.
"You guys are like animals!!" Liffi pounds on her bed, coz of her madness.
A moment of silence ...
"Oh, yeah, I forgot... you guys are animals, beasts after all." Liffi sighs again, controlling her overflowing emotions.
"Liffi, please forgive me." Nakula approaches.
"Don't touch Liffi!" Sadewa throws Nakula's hand away.
They both stare at each other with hatred. Liffi smirks. "Why don't you guys kill each other?!! The winner can come back to me!!" Liffi challenges them both because of her hurt, because of her sorrow.
"Solve everything like your animal instincts!!" Liffi shouts, her tears dripping profusely again.
"Is that what you want, Liffi?" Nakula asks.
"Watching us kill each other?" Sadewa asks too.
