At present, Briceus was seated languidly on a throne of oak which sat beneath an impressively decorated `baldachin. Adjoined to his seat on both sides were two equally impressive seats which had now become occupied by two high-ranking members of the Royal family. By his right-hand side, his step-mother, Queen Athena sat donned in all factors accruing to elegance. While, Prince Aldrich, his half-brother sat wilfully on the seat by his left-hand side.
A diamond symbolic emblem lay fixed on the backside of the throne to add some essence to it.
In the exuberant balustrades which overlooked the entire hall in the vastness of its breadth and grandeur, sat men who were high standing officials of the Kingdom's Monarchy; men whose loyalty towards their Lord Sovereign should have no need to be questioned.
Everyone sat still because everyone was waiting, anxiously.
