Flick awoke with a sudden jolt, holding her head. "Dang… another nightmare." She said as she got up, shaking her head and looking out her window. "It's so nice out today! It's going to be exciting!" She exclaimed, a bright smile making its way onto her face.
Flick Thomson, a junior at Ravenhood Highschool. 15 years of age and likes playing outside with her friends, spending time with her family, and working in their coffee and tea shop, MapleHide. She is very adventurous and is a Pansexual and Caucasian. Her height is 5'6
Flick put her usual clothes on, a red shirt, jean jacket, blue pants, white socks, and brown shoes. She thought it went well with her brown hair and the pointy ahoge on the top of her head and her hazel brown eyes. She made her way down the steps, and into the kitchen. "Mornin' Ma! Mornin' Pa!" She said with a wave and her usual beaming smile. "Mornin' Flicky!" "Hey Sunshine!" Her mother and father replied, smiling back at her. Magma, her mother, and Sparks, her father, both loved their daughter very much. And she loved them.
"There's a bowl of cereal for ya on the table Sweetkins." Her mother said, making Flick blush at nickname as she sat down and began to eat her food quickly. After finishing, she wiped the milk off of her lips and got up. "I'll be back!" She called out to her parents as she ran towards the front door. "Make sure ya feed the cats! And lock up the shop until we get there, okay?" Her father reminded her. "Got it! I will!" Flick grabbed a bag of cat food and the keys on her way out and burst through the door, and out into the open. She cherished the wind brushing past her, taking a few gulps of the fresh air. She turned a corner and ran into an alleyway which barely anyone knew about, the walls here were painted by the local children who wanted to make the world more colorful.
"I'm here!" She panted out and walked to the food bowl still full with water, the cats usually drank from the nearby stream, but the food side was empty. "Must've been hungry." Flick poured the food into the bowl and threw it into the recycling bin. "Ciao!" She said, using her usual goodbye phrase and turned around and walked off. She stopped and stretched, absorbing the feeling of sun on her skin before running off again towards MapleHide. The tan building was just a few blocks away, past houses of red, blue, and green, all with white and brown roofs. She waved to some of the people sitting on their porches and they waved back. 'This is perfect. Everything I could want is here, a friendly neighborhood, friends, a good school, family, bright days, and plenty of places to explore!' Snapping her out of her thoughts was the shop, which she ran over to and pulled out the keys and locked the door.
"Excuse me, Flick?" A voice called out to her from behind. I know that voice! Spinning around, she was face to face with Mrs. Mayazuchi, one of their most common customers. "I was hoping that I could get some tea early today." She explained to the young girl. Flick thought for a moment before replying. "Well, I guess one person couldn't hurt!" She gave her award-winning smile before unlocking the doors and letting the older woman in. "What kind would you like Ma'am?" "I was thinking about Shade tea." "Comin' right up!" Flick immediately got to work and poured some mist colored water into a cup and then put some dashes of sugar inside and stirred it. "Here ya go!" Flick handed the cup to Mrs. Mayazuchi and she sipped it. "Delicious as always, Flick!" "Thanks Ma'am! How's your husband?" "He's doing fine, thank you!" Flick smiled, she always enjoyed having her conversations with Mrs. Mayazuchi. "Anyways! Thanks for coming! This one's on the house!" She bowed to Mayazuchi and walked with her outside and locked the store. "Off to visit your friends?" Mayazuchi asked. "Yep yep! We're meeting outside in front of the school!" Flick replied. "How nice! I hope you all have fun!" Mayazuchi added with a smile. Flick nodded. "We will!" She then ran off towards her school. I can't wait to see what today will bring! She noticed her friends sitting on one of the school benches and dashed over to them. "Hi guys!" She said as she hugged them all from behind. "Gyah?! Oh, hey Flick!" Daichi said, giving a soft chuckle.

"Meep! O-oh… Hey Flick!" Clabella said with a relieved sigh. "Gosh, you certainly gave me a scare!"

"Eh?! Oh, it's just you, Flick! Don't do that!" Rabecca huffed out, rolling her eyes and giggling.
Rabecca Splinters, a junior at Ravenhood Highschool. 15 years of age. One of Flick's friends. She loves magic tricks and hanging out with them. The shortest one in the group but has the biggest attitude. She wears a red beret and a red dress with a yellow skirt with blue socks and red shoes. She has black hair and has amber eyes. Her height is 4'5. She is also Black and is a lesbian.
"How are you guys?" Flick asked her friends. "We're good!" They all replied, making Flick nod with happiness knowing that her friends were alright. "So, now that we're all here, I can finally tell you all my idea!" Daichi said, standing up and stretching "How about we go to the Gopple Grove?"
The others gasped. "The… Gopple Grove? Daichi you idiot! We don't want to disappear like the rest of the people!" Rabecca snapped. 'She has a point, people have been disappearing in the Gopple Grove for over 3 months now.' "No, of course not! I was thinking maybe we could investigate it to find clues about the disappearances!"
"That's not a bad idea." Flick spoke up. "But we'll need to be careful." Rabecca rolled her eyes. "If you guys are going, I am too. Besides, someone has to look after you all." Clabella chimed in, she was planning to be a doctor when she grew up so she knew some stuff about treating wounds. Flick and Daichi nodded at her. "Thanks, Clabella." Flick turned to her friend. "Rabecca, are you going to come?"
"I guess I have no choice." Rabecca sighed and stood up straight. "But first, let's go to Yuzunoko Diner to discuss our plan." She added. The others looked at each other and nodded. "Good idea, Yuzunoko is right around the corner." Daichi said, taking the lead and walking towards Yuzunoko Diner. Flick nodded to the girls and they began to follow Daichi. Eventually the group made it to the diner and walked inside, finding themselves seats. "So, we obviously have to stick together." Flick stated. "Next up, we shouldn't wander in too deep. So we don't get lost." She said as the others nodded. "Right, we should also gather supplies we'll need. I'll get the medical supplies, Flick, you get the snacks and drinks. Daichi, you get some paper we can draw a map in, and Rabecca, you get a bag so we can put any clues we'll find in it." Clabella said as the others were quite surprised at her authority but agreed to their roles anyways. "Right, let's get going, guys." Flick said as she and the others got up and parted ways to get their supplies, preparing for their journey that had just begun.
