So that's how my life will change?" I asked glancing up to look at him.
He was walking me to the University.
After giving him a thousand fucking reasons to not take me back with him to Eclesidia, the vampire city, Daniel finally agreed.
"Yap, but sooner or later you're going to came to Eclesidia with me.
First of all sunlight is a problem.
Second, the blood urge will be high.
You won't go a second without ripping your classmates jugular." he tried.
"I can't Daniel, how I'm I going to explain how I was turned? I can't even explain to you how? And as for the blood urge thing, you can stay by my side.
Help me control myself" I tried explaining to him.
"Fine," he grumbled.
Swiftly, I reached out to him and embraced him into a hug.
He was like a drug to me.
His scent, the taste of his blood made me feel like I was ten times stronger.
I snuggled on his neck so that I could inhale his scent more.
"I don't have anywhere to go, my hostel is locked," I exhaled on his neck.
"You don't have to worry about anything," he husked on my neck.
His hot breath on my skin turned me on.
"Why?" I asked pulling away so that I could see his perfectly sculpted face.
His eyes had returned to their hazel colour.
His dirty blonde hair was in a hot mess.
I think I shuffled it while drinking his sweet addicting blood.
"Why what?" he asked in the calmest tone ever.
"Why are you helping me, why are you here with me,
Is it your kind of job?" I asked releasing myself from his hold.
"You know what, I don't even know," he said while I took small steps away from him.
"Is it because I killed someone that you think I'm a lost cause.
Well maybe I am a lost cause," I said tears flooding my eyes.
I had killed someone.
I had killed someone.
I repeatedly said those four words in my head.
"I'm a murderer, I killed someone with no remorse just like that and I acted as if it was normal," I told myself, chewing my fingernails.
"Stella, it's normal for the blood lust and blood urge to be high for a new vampire," he said reaching out to hold my hand.
"So it's okay for me to kill?"
I asked him, flinching away from his touch.
"Is that what you do in Eclesidia?"
Silence followed.
He answered my question that I was a remorseless killer.
"Stella, when you turn into a vampire, your senses get heightened, your hearing will work ten times stronger, your strength will increase, you'll run faster," he explained.
"So I killed her because of the heightened senses?" I asked looking at him.
Feeling better that it wasn't my fault.
"Yes," he answered while drawing me in his arms.
"And you're not a lost cause,"
He said, his voice muffled in my hair.
"Thanks I guess," I said pulling away from him.
"So what are we going to do about the hostel situation," I asked as we continued walking.
We were the only ones on the field.
"I think you forget that I'm a vampire," he said with a satanic smirk plastered on his face.
I felt heat creep up my cold cheeks.
"I guess," I said yawning.
"Come, I'll carry you to your hostel," he said swooping my legs away from the ground.
His body close to mine reminded me of where we met.
Which raised the question, what was that place?
Where was it?
Why was the ground dark?
"That was the Malcolm's graveyard," he said answering my thoughts.
"If it's a graveyard, then where are the graves?" I asked him, still clung on his neck, inhaling his comforting scent.
"Its not supposed to have any graves," he answered vaguely.
"What does Eclesidia look like?" I asked changing the subject.
"It's nice, there is no sunlight just like we like it.
We don't have to hide our trueself." he said.
"You know that one day you'll have to go there, you can't survive here, with the sunlight," he said sighing.
"I know but I'm not ready to face a whole city of vampires," I said with a huff.
