This caused Evan to almost get hit by the wooden sword. Aiden threw the sword upward and decided to use his feet. He used a back kick in order to apply more weight. Evan blocked in time, he was surprised that the kick was a little weak, but then the sword he threw up was already down to his hand. He rapidly striked Evan's neck first, but he stopped when it almost hit him. Evan was surprised. "I admit defeat". These faint words came out from Evan before he collapsed.

When Aiden saw this, he was now sure that to win, its either he needs to make someone who he considers as an enemy collapse, admit defeat, or die. The system notification arrived the instant Evan finished his last words. Everyone was surprised in awe too, Aiden's new ability and reflexes were good. They didn't know this because they weren't interested in Aiden in any way. They would just watch Sara Kroft fight. What caught their surprises was Aiden's black and white flames that seemed to grow more intense each second the fight folds.
Sara was still fighting with another boy's name was Saki Shinzo who had the ability of Anatomical Liberation, he was able to split their own body apart into pieces and control the said pieces however they wish, by levitating them away, he is also immune to to cutting and being slashed because they can just pull their bodies back together again. They can also remove their own organs without dying and will neither bleed to death nor die if their brain or heart is removed, meanwhile Sara has the ability of Ice and can control it to how she desires. This makes her the perfect opponent for Saki since she could just freeze him to death.
The fight was very intense, Sara was releasing Icicles from the sky and sharp thin ice blades from the ground. Saki was dodging all of these like a professional, he would also sometimes be able to hit Sara, but Sara can also manage hand to hand combat, so sometimes Saki's attack wouldn't go as planned, and he would be the one on the ground instead, realizing this, Sara made a blade from ice attached to her hand. Although Saki was immune to slashing, he could still feel the coldness that would enter his body. They were already fighting for a total of 7 minutes. Tomorrow was gonna be another round of fights, it was losers vs. losers, and winners vs. winners, Aiden knew that his opponent the next day would be a tough nut to crack so he needed to be more prepared and also be able to increase his stats in order to be on par with other people in his class. Everyone was issued to go home, whenever they had the first 3 days of a month, they would only be staying at school for 2 hours before leaving. Aiden arrived at home at 8 a.m in the morning, he decided to train more sword techniques and strength training and agility training for the whole day. He spend 30 minutes warming up before going to the real case. He spent 3 hours of non stop training before eating lunch. He ate a balanced diet of greens and rested for another hour before going back to his own personalized training.
He started doing some basic diamond push ups before training with his sword. He grabbed a real sword from his arsenal and went to an open space outside his dorm. He started performing techniques he already knew, slashing up and down, sidewards and diagonally, each slash brought a gust of wind with it because of the immense pressure that it gives from each powerful strike. He could tell that the one stat point increased his strength, he also noticed he became slightly faster than last time, etc. a few days ago. He was now on thought of how much can a +5 on all his stats could do, he was certain that it can give him a huge boost too. After another 2 hours of performing sword techniques a notification appeared.

Even with the +2, his strength was still not close to a Bronze 3 warrior, he was hoping he could at least see the stats of other people so he could know how much he needed. Next thing he wanted to do now was increase his mana, if he were to increase his own intelligence, he first guessed that it would be reading books. He was planning to go to the library but he couldn't, the library was already closed by 7 p.m. He decided to go back to his dorm and take a bath after resting for an hour, he decided to cook his dinner in order to relieve boredom. He decided to make a light salad for dinner, he also heated some water for his bath later.
The day passed really quick for Aiden, it was already the next day and he was already at the classroom, he was only waiting for the other people and adviser so that they can start. Aiden wasn't really confident that he could win, he just decided to go with the flow for now, and he really needed to complete that daily event mission so no matter what happens he really wanted to win. He stood up and walked towards the window at the left side of the classroom, he saw the school gates open, and some leaves falling. He saw teachers and students walk from the corner of his eye. He sighed as the cold air of his breath appeared, the windows moistened as light rain began to drizzle. He went back to his seat, he opened the system again.

He stared at it with a black expression since he didn't even know if he was able to complete that task he was given, he just exhaled loudly and scorned over it. He stretch his arms and back upon the table and some students barged in, the peaceful classroom became chaotic, they saw Aiden as they swarmed him as they asked about the ability he'd shown yesterday. It was very noisy and tumultuous and Aiden could only smile wryly.
Aiden only responded by saying its just a fire type of ability, the crowd became more rowdy because these means that he could match Sara. Since Ice could rival fire, and fire could rival ice, Aiden exhaled heavily since he wasn't used to such crowd. He could only get out of the disorganized crowd when the teacher came in, they greeted her good morning while Aiden was still smiling wryly.
They arrived at the auditorium once again, Aiden was matched with a girl with an ability called Insect Manipulation, her name is Lux Tia. She was average, not powerful or weak, although her ability was very much powerful, she didn't have so much mana pool to keep going. Aiden did the same, black and white flames carefully dressed his wooden sword, his black crystal eyes glowed for a second that seemed to reflect her on his eyes. As the teacher's raised his hand, the countdown started. Lux also prepared some insects, there was horned dung beetle and some wasps and many more.
Aiden took the initiative to strike first, he waved his sword as the flame followed, it was like light illuminated a dark room as they could not release their sight of that sword, it had two pretty colors with it that followed, Lux made the insects defend her but the instant, it was useless to flames and it was a dumb move, perhaps the reason for his today's victory was his luck but he still couldn't be sure of victory.
As the insects burned some still got away, Aiden thought of killing all the insects and the flame did as instructed, the flames growed in size, it now looked like a sword made from flames, its size enough was able to catch every insect that got in his way. The girl squealed and tried to block the sword of flames by her arms, Aiden retracted the sword and spun in a 180 manner giving her a back kick. The girl got up after falling to the ground from the kick, he then controlled more insects as she got up, Aiden scorned at this and striked again, he wanted to reach and strike Lux who was 7m away from him, He used one flame and decided to throw it to Lux, the moment it reached Lux, Aiden also caught up and went for the strike.

As the black flame collided with the white flame, a small strong explosion resounded the area, this burned all the insects and even pushed Lux 13m apart.

These we're indicators to Aiden that the enemy was whether unconscious, or had been defeated. Aiden could also say that he almost only won because of the matching partners he received today. The flames disappeared and Lux was laying there, he sighed in big relief that he won, it was now one more step of him getting stronger, as long as he doesn't face Sara, maybe, he'll still have a chance of winning.
As Aiden reached his dorm after the fights, he proceeded on another training session again, he wanted to at least be able to be recognized as a Bronze 3 tier before proceeding with another fight tomorrow. He finished the first batch of training in early morning which gave him another 2 stat points on strength and agility, and another point on endurance. He cooked a healthy balance lunch and rested for a hour, he came back to his training and earned another 2 stats on all three.

Even after all of that, he still wasn't recognized as a Bronze 3 Warrior, he felt very dejected about it but still continued, he totally forgot about going to the library which made him more disappointed. He made another light salad for dinner, as he ate it he received a notification.
