"We're almost set up, sir."
"Are the chairs and tables all laid out?"
"Yes."
"What about the food?"
"TRUCK WILL BE HERE IN 30!!!!"
"THANKS, BRAD.
Keep forgetting that noise travels when all is still."
"Our food is in the back. The trays all set up, awaiting the rush. All that's left to do is wait for Wolf to come with his volunteers."
*Knock, knock knock*
"What if it's him?"
"I hope so. Ever since he left, volunteers have been slim. Go see."
"Wolf, where are we, and whose door is this? Last I saw, the hardware store was over yonder, not hither, thender."
"I was just thinking that if we too build the rest of the day, then why must we go on an empty stomach?"
"Is that you, Wolf?"
"Here in the flesh. I brought some people with me, if you don't mind."
"Oh, not at all. Please, come in, all of you."
"Is this a...."
"Why are we in a large cafeteria?"
"Huuuuuuuuu!!!! Is that...…."
"FOOD!!!!!!"
"Oh, thank you. Thank you. Thank you."
"Ehemmm!!!!"
"Oh thank you, thank you, thank you. This tastes so good."
"EHEMMMM!!!!!"
"Yes sir. Sorry wolf. We're just hungry. You must understand."
"I understand completely. Please, take one of these."
"Why are you holding an apron in one hand and an outfit in the other?"
"We are not here to eat but to serve. In my left hand, houses a red outfit.
Over there on that side of the building is Feeding America. If you choose to help out there then you will grab an outfit and head that way.
On my right is an apron. Here you will serve people as they arrive. We open in twenty. The cars will arrive, park out back, hand their ticket to the front desk, and then will come over to this room to eat some food while their food gets packaged.
Over there, you will listen and follow instructions as you pack boxes for how many families one has. Then you will proceed to place it in their car. Over here, the family will line up double lined and have a tray in hand. As they go along all the stations, you will drop a portion of whatever station you're at, on their plate. Remember, if they ask for more, then you've already failed. They must not need to ask, for you must already be willing to give. Is that clear?"
"Yes, Kingship."
"TRUCKS ROUNDING THE BEND. THEY'RE ABOUT TO PULL IN THE DRIVEWAY."
"THANKS….BRAD!!!!
Hurry, they're already waiting out front."
"I'll take this one. Thank you."
"Thank you."
"I'll take this one."
"Richard, the one in the blue coat, will direct you where you should go. Ask him. Also, don't thank me just yet. The hard part is not even here."
"Wolf, is this truly Dreamworld?"
"Most of it."
"I thought you would go to Dreamworld and stay, not bring them back with you. Their is no complaint, here; just curious."
"Gianni, we've actually come to ask a favor of you."
"Anything. You've always been there for me. What is it?"
"Father has ransacked and destroyed Dreamworld so homes are in short supply. I was wondering if you could help round up some willing bodies so that we could rebuild. Also, is there any work around here that we could potentially trade our services for wood and other building materials."
"I could scrounger up a few, but I thought Dreamworld was full of magic. Can't you just use that?"
"It is, but with using magic and not anything else; the value is no longer there. Hopefully now that they have built using their own hands and not someone else's magic, they will appreciate it more. In turn, I hope they will be more protective of their homeland and not let anyone strip it."
"Knew you were adopted. We'll talk later. First...."
"THEY'RE HERE!!!!!!!!!"
"THANKS….BRAD. AGAIN."
"Everybody, to your places."
"Wait."
"What?"
"Aren't you forgetting something?"
"Huuuu…oh…oh yes. Sylvia, go tell the cooks and everyone else back there to gather up front. Wolf, can you get the other party?"
"Most certainly.
RICHARD!!!!"
"Why is Wolf running towards us? Did we forget something?"
"No. Not that I…..oohh."
"What?"
"We forgot to pray.
EVERYBODY, LISTEN UP. MEET BETWEEN THE TWO BUILDINGS SO WE CAN PRAY."
"Is everyone here?"
"As far as I know. There may be some in the bathroom, but I'm sure God won't forget them."
"Okay. Everybody, hold hands, and let us bow our heads to pray."
"Dear Father, we thank you for the clothes on our backs and the food in our bellies. Nothing we have can be gained without You, but we ask today that not only do You help us give food where it is needed, but also your message. We know there are those out there less fortunate than us. Today may simply be a day of passing out food, but I hope that they leave with more than just that in their stomachs. On this cold day, we pray that You provide the heat we need and the words our tongues speak. Your mansion you've given us is vast, and we wish to fill it, so help us. As always, we leave with this.
'Our hands were meant for building. Our words meant for destroying, and our feet were meant for leading.'"
"Wait, I know that saying. Isn't that…."
"Shh!!"
"With everything in me, help us not to forget.
AMEN!!!!"
"Now everybody, hands in.
We know there are hungry zombies just waiting on the prowl outside. Instead of our bones, let's give them a feast. Who's with me?"
"YEAAAAAAAAA!!!!"
"I said, WHO'S WITH ME?"
"WE ARE!!!!!!!!!!"
"THEN MAN YOUR STATIONS!!!!!!!!!"
"My pack...on me. Let's go, go, go!!!!"
"Wolf, I saw that there are few for desserts."
"And."
"Well, if you want, I know this wonderful recipe I used to use back on Dreamworld, that my family used to love. It doesn't take long to whip up, and is to die for."
"Whooo!!!! We're not killing anybody today except hunger. Tell one of the cooks and they'll provide everything you need."
"But, Wolf. You haven't even heard what the dish is?"
"No need. I have faith that it will be as you say it is."
"Thank you."
"Ticket for one."
"I'll take that. Thank you. Enjoy your meal."
"Am I the first?
"It appears to be so. Don't worry. Take as much as you want."
"Of what? I'm new here."
"Ticket for four."
"Thank you. Enjoy your meal."
"Huh?"
"Follow me, I'll show you. Just tell Richard where your car is, or if you want; give him the keys, and then just sit back and eat to your heart's content as they load boxes for you."
"Okay, here they come. Is everybody ready?"
"I got a spoon and I'm not afraid to use it."
"Love the energy."
"So what do we do?"
"Four mac and cheese, two vegetables, one cake, ten cans of fruit, and then the rest is outside.
Who volunteers to help load boxes in cars and package the other things inside? We have watermelons, hams, Poptart's, cans of soda, and potatoes."
"Don't forget the juice."
"Oh yea, don't forget the juice. Also, if you accidentally run to a car carrying an extra item or box, do not….I repeat….DO NOT…put it back. Give it to them."
"Yes sir."
"How is your day going today, Ma'am?"
"The wind outside is a bit nasty, but with what I'm getting here, I can help warm the house up by baking and cooking all day long."
"That's the spirit. How is Jim?"
"Oh no, no mashed potatoes for me, please."
"But mashed potatoes are your favorite. You always get them. Is something wrong?"
"Let's just say, Jim and I no longer sleep on the same bed."
"Sorry to hear about that. Sabrina, Max, and Chelsy must be devastated. Are you sure you don't need help?"
"Wolf, I'm fine. You help enough around...everywhere. If I could clone you, I would, but since I can't; then you need your rest."
"Rose, remember what I said."
"Yea, yea, I know. 'If God wanted more of me, then He would've cloned me. Seeing He hasn't, it makes me wonder why.'"
"Exactly."
"Upp, here's our car. Just as I expected. It's always the small cars that have the most families."
"Brother, look at them all. Their clothes are worse off than ours. I wish we could help them all more."
"Abby, until we find out how to contain your powers so you don't get sick then I…..where are you going? They'll keep flooding in."
"I don't care. Their lives are worth far more than any old building I can resurrect."
"Wolf, your sister does realize that it's only been ten minutes? We have two and a half hours left to go before all this food runs out and we close."
"I don't think she cares."
"Word will spread that a Healer is here, and she won't be able to keep up."
"Again. I don't think she cares."
"Oh, hello there, young one. Didn't see you for a sec. My eyesight is so bad I can barely lift a brow."
"How long have you been blind in one eye?"
"As long as I remember. Oh, I would give anything to be able to see."
"Grandma, your wish is granted. All I ask in return is for a hug. May I?"
"Little girl, most certainly, but I don't know what you can do about my...wait, why are you touching me. Huuuuu!!!!!!"
"How many fingers am I holding up?"
"It's like the scales have fallen off. I can see!!!
I can sEE. I CAN SEE!!!! It's a miracle. Oh, thank you. Thank you. How can I ever repay your kindness?"
"You just did it with a hug."
"I have to go tell my husband and then bring my family back here to meet you. This will be the best day of his life.
JARED, I'M COMING HOME.
I CAN SEE. I CAN SEE. I CAN SEE!!!!"
"WHAT ABOUT YOUR BOXES? I DON'T THINK THEY'VE GOTTEN TO YOUR CAR YET."
"IT DOESN'T' MATTER. GIVE THEM ALL TO SOMEONE ELSE. I CAN SEE!!!!!"
"That's one way to make an entrance, sister. How did it feel?"
"It felt good. I feel like so much power left me, but I know it didn't. I used way more power rebuilding the castle and other people's homes than this. It felt like I didn't use any power at all. Can I do it again? Please, please, please!!!"
"Don't ask me. Ask them."
"Can you heal me!!!
Can you heal me!!!!"
"Can you heal me!!!!!
Can you heal me!!!!
"Pleaseeee!!!!!!"
"Looks like you just went from a star…..to a superstar!!!!! Think you can handle it?"
"Creeeeeeakkk!!!
Bring them to me!!!!!"
"You asked for it.
Avella."
"Yes, my king?"
"Take Ariel and go out into the streets. I want everybody needed to be healed, brought in. Shout it from the rooftops. Not a corner of this warehouse should be empty by the end of the day. I want it packed like sardines in here."
"Yes sir!!! You can count on us."
