(Ken POV)
The Academic building to say the least... was freaking big.
When the three of us finally arrived at the building, I could only marvel at it in silent awe since it was as bigger than the Baron's Manor back at the village.
The Academic Building is a four-story establishment that housed the numerous classrooms and other facilities where the Mage students attended. The building itself was also aesthetic, having a state-of-the-art architectural design that's even a lot fancier than most Mansions that I have witness whenever my grandfather and I would visit a town for selling our raw materials from farm work.
Glass windows are the norm of the building, with a huge triangular roof on the top. The walls are painted in glamorous blue, and the entrance compromised of a majestic wooden double door with the crescent moon insignia engraved on each door.
Opening the door and stepping inside, the first thing that greeted us was the grand hallway and the reception counter where a female receptionist was behind talking to a student. There are a lot of doors around the halls and corners, where the classrooms and offices are most likely to be found.
Speaking of the students, we could now see them almost everywhere around the area conducting their own business. Some are chatting leisurely with one another while others can be seen walking while carrying a book or two.
Words can't describe how happy I am to get accepted at a prestigious magic academy. Here I thought that all of this was just a mere dream that can never be achieved.
To be perfectly honest, I almost cried at this fateful moment. I never would have imagined that I could have a shot at being a Mage, but thanks to Master's gift, it was all made possible.
And I sincerely owe her that much. Freeing her from Asmodeus' curse was one of the things that I had determined to repay for what she gave to me, aside from my personal conviction of ridding her sadness.
Thankfully, unlike the fiasco back outside, the students here paid no attention to us since they were rather occupied at whatever business that they were in. Being at an establishment of learning, I can only deduce that they must maintain a strict sense of discipline fitting for a Mage student in training unlike their counterparts outside hence they risk disciplinary actions from a teacher or someone of similar status.
I knew that much since grandpa would train me like that more or less. He would point out even the smallest of flaws in my stances with the hopes that I would completely eliminate or at the very least, minimize it.
Alex told Ana and I that consulting with the receptionist was the proper way of arranging a meeting with the Headmaster, but in this situation, there's no need for that since the chibi was already expecting us. If I were to wake up, then I immediately go straight to him without fail as noted by Alex.
Thus, we skip that particular step and proceeded directly to the Headmaster's office which was located on the fourth floor.
Damn these stairs are fucking long. This Headmaster sure wanted to torment his students' legs, that's for sure.
A few moments later, with Alex knowing the way since he was already here at the academy since the first day unlike Ana and I, we have reached our destination.
The entrance to the Headmaster's office was clearly different from the rest of the doors. For one, the door was more extravagant and a sculpture of a bunny head was witnessed to be etched on it.
Strange, why a freaking bunny of all things? There must be some sort of symbol behind it.
Oh, and the words "Headmaster's Office" can be read from the sign hanging on top of the door.
Alex knocked on the door on behalf of the three of us and a short while later, we heard the familiar child-like voice of the Headmaster gesturing us to enter.
Complying with the order, we entered the office.
The room was rather neat, with different books that are arranged in order on their respective shelves. A window covered slightly with a red curtain was seen behind the Headmaster who was sitting on his desk. It was most likely utilized as his way of observing the entire academy from a bird's eye view.
In addition, the office was cleaned and maintained regularly since the entirety of it was meticulously tidy without fault.
Overall, the office was what I've probably expected from a Headmaster of an academy more or less.
We were immediately greeted by the big boss himself as he smiled in an accomodating manner.
"Welcome, welcome. Have a sit, you three."
With a snap of his finger, three chairs were instantly conjured from out of nowhere right in front of him.
I sensed that what he did was no magic spell since I was not able to comprehend it in the slightest.
Summoning chairs sure might come in handy in many situations, especially when your precious legs got tortured by four flights of that damn stairs!!
Oh well, at least the exercise was good. A Mage should keep a balanced diet and regular workout to maintain a healthy body and mind.
Master decided to butt in with a piece of advice regarding this strange dilemma of mine.
"While it's clearly magic, the process is mechanically engineered and is part of this office's artificial machinations of a sort. In most cases, you may only comprehend natural spells normally cast directly by the user. Thus, this one right here is not considered a spell for you to easily learn."
I acknowledge Master's helpful information silently and disregarded any hope of copying a chair summoning spell.
Such a shame, really.
Raining death via chairs to my adversaries certainly was an awesome prospect. Enemies would be utterly dumbfounded and stricken by the might of a hundred chairs hitting them in the head, hahaha!!
I Ken Bruce, shall conquer this world by chairs alone!! The Magus of Chair-finity himself shall indulge the whims of the lowly mortals by achieving world peace through the wonders of being relinquished by my thousand thrones!!
Hmm, thrones... Well, there's a clue in what I'm going to name that spell, hehehe.
.
.
.
.
Oh... right... And I can't learn it.
Fuck!!!!
While I was obviously lost in my thoughts of world domination by chairs, The Headmaster cleared his throat in preparation for what he was about to say, no doubt attentive and a bit bothered by my rather obvious state of fantasy-induced contemplation.
"Before we start on our agenda, may I ask something, Mr. Bruce?"
I snapped out in an instant and agreed with his request.
"Sure, ask away."
I saw Gray taking a deep breath as he stood up from behind his desk and begun approaching me.
And everything went downhill from here...
He suddenly caught me off-guard, assuming a wide creepy smile on his face while breathing non-stop like he was in ecstasy.
Okay, just what the fuck?
This is creepy and frightening at so many levels!!!
A male child seemingly obsessed with a male teenager like me is just so disgusting and wrong in so many different ways!!
In my opinion at least. Although if there's anyone who's into that unusual fetish, then I don't want to do anything with their addiction whatsoever!!!
What is this, some kind of sick foreplay or something?!!! A new type of forbidden gag that one must not be named and spread??!!!
Ana and Alex shared my confused sentiment and they were at loss as well, baffled by the Headmaster's bizarreness.
"Mr. Bruce?"
His sweet (To him at least) child voice echoed in my ears like a bee stinging me repeatedly. He also held my both hands and I started to wonder if this child was actually bat-shit crazy at the way he's ridiculously acting like now.
Where was the reasonable Headmaster that I initially knew during the entrance exam??!!
Was it all just a ruse? To let my guard down around him so he may invite me to his office and perform unspeakable things at me??!!
And him being a child only accentuated this crazy issue to heights unreachable!!
Wait... That does not make any sense actually since the Dragonheart siblings are present right beside me to witness this unusual and frightening scenario. Or maybe... shit... he's actually into that? Enjoying people looking at him while he made his way towards me?
This perverted brat is even more messed up than I initially thought!!!
Oh well, if things indeed got too far, then I have the perfect excuse to burn this chibi retard to crisp with my Dragonfire.
Sweat poured from my forehead and my nervousness skyrocketed at how exuberantly close this bastard was. Regardless, I still managed to retain some sense of mental stability and chose to acknowledge him... against my better judgment.
"Y-yes?"
The Headmaster's rate of breathing turns more intense as he asks his fateful question.
"Is it true? Is the Goddess herself right there, inside of you?"
Alright, another weirdness added to this already bizarre predicament.
Goddess? What in Arkadia's name is he talking about now? The only one who can be considered inside of me was none other than-
"Oh, crud... No... Not this shit again!!!"
-Vivian Algrande herself as she immediately turned scared shitless and was now panicking from inside my mind.
Okay... what was wrong with her now? Why was she panicking at the sight of the Headmaster?
Okay, perhaps her expression was understandable, given how undeniably creepy the chibi bastard was acting right now.
Still, I'm genuinely confused at why she's acting all terrified to the point of being exceedingly traumatized at the very core.
Like she knew him or something...
*Sigh* I truly want to know when everything is going to start making sense again.
Yup, just what the fuck indeed.
