BOOM!
One of the corvettes of pirates exploded as the Marines aggressive attack made the pirates helpless. The maneuver of marines are professional unlike the pirates who are not used to fighting with spaceship.
Marines are taught by veterans and there are also professionals veterans on deck in the marines that's why they can calculate the trajectory of the projectiles coming from the pirates. If they are knowledgeable enough then a slight mistake would be their demise that is why crew on deck are professionals and mastered the art of Space battle.
Also the Captain of the Marines are not stupid. I don't know why most of the stories portrayed these side characters are dumb and just a cannon fodder. Seeing a battleships destroyed one after another on the side of the pirates made the Captain smirked. Satisfied on the result.
"Captain there are 1 corvette, 1 frigates and 1 destroyer remaining on enemy side. Our side only suffered minor damage on 2 of our Frigates but our ship suffered a slight major damage on the engine room and few casualties."
"Good Good!"
"Stop the ship and send some repair crews to the Engine Room. Tell the other 3 frigates to pursue the enemy."
The captain issued an order as he was confident they would be able to win the battle.

On the other side of the battle. The captain of the pirate is losing his mind.
"Damn! Marines! You and your shit!"
The bearded man slam his fist on his arm chair. He was furious as he watched his fleet obliterated by the marines. He thought they could overpower the marines by their numbers but he underestimated the skills of the Marines.
Yup, This type of people should be the fodder who jump into their deaths because they are not knowledgeable enough to do space tactics. Why? Surely you jest. They don't have education and training unlike the Marines. That's the difference, these people are just group of greedy and bottom of the society who can only think of money and satisfaction.
Such people are not deserve to live.
"Retreat! I will not forgive them!"
The bearded man shouted as his crews remained silent. They didn't say anything in fear the captain would kill them.
Narrow-minded and stupid these is what we call them. Idiots who can't do anything good in their life but destroy others for their own selfishness.
However before they could retreat the last remaining corvette exploded into pieces and the frigates receive a huge damage. Making the captain of pirates twitch and tremble from anger as his face covered in black.
No one what he was thinking. He stared at the Destroyer of the marines with fury in his eyes.
"Did one of our succeeded infiltrated the commercial ship?"
He said. This was his final plan, He wanted to capture the commercial ship but now they are on the losing side.
"Yes boss they did."
"Good... This is a payback to those damn marines. Tell those guys to plant bombs and destroy the ship."
"Roger Boss!"
"Hahahaha Damn all of you. You'll pay a heavy price."
He laughed out loud furiously as his ship entered warping mode and disappeared towards the starry space.

Seeing their Enemy running away, the Marines finally get some relief as they celebrated their win. The captain laughed out loud happily in contrast of the pirate's captain.

Commercial Ship Deck.
"Captain we discovered an intruder."
The captain creased his brows as gritted his teeth when he heard the report. To think that the pirates would infiltrate the commercial ship.
"Prepare the armed forces to deal the intruders. Remember No harm shall be put on the passengers. Turn on the highest security level... Also for safety measures lock all cabins and hallways. I don't want a single brigand laying their hands on the passengers."
"Yes sir!"
"Roger that!"
As per orders of the captain multiple marines situated in the Commercial Ship prepared themselves as they preparing to intercept the intruding pirates.
Hopefully nothing goes wrong as the captain prayed.

The Pirates infiltrated close to rear hull just close to the engine room. They rammed the boarding torpedo and commonly known as Breaching pod as it penetrated the hull of the ship.
As it successfully breached the ship. Multiple pirates came out from the pod as they spread out. Planting bombs around the engine room.
As time passes multiple pirates spread out around the interior of the ship as they continued their plantation of explosives.
This shit is getting really real quick. These people are not joking around.
The Marines finally meet the brigands as they kill the pirates one by one and have some casualties on their side. However, Because the Pirates are spread out the marines are forced to spread out.
It's getting hot as staff also joined the action some life was reaped by the cruel brigands as they looted the body of the dead with smile plastered on their faces.
The leading captain of the marines stared at these hideous people in disgust and anger. He saw the pirates dragging a staff, a woman. She was crying for help as the pirates drag her away. Because there was a civilian the marines are forced to sit like a duck as they watch the pirates taking hostages.
"Fucking Pirates!"
They continued the gun fight in the large spaced lounge. According to his intel this was the last group of pirates as the other group of marines successfully dealt the pirates around the ship.
Really, This pirates are revolting and barbarous. The captain click his tongue as he could only helplessly watch the pirates leaving with hostages.
Defensive item won't last long and cannot protect someone when someone punch you.
The captain received a report from the captain of the Commercial Ship, Haliya. The report shocked the captain of marine squad as his face turned pale. He then shouted at the people who he knew how to difused a bomb. He commanded them to go to location where the bomb are located.
The people in questions hastily run as fast as they could to reach the area where they are designated into. They hastily defused the bomb but they couldn't defuse a few of those bombs.
As a result. Things really are unfortunate. The bombs exploded and so many people died including the defusing team.

The Alert system of the ship sounds off. People are panicking as the damage was so drastic. If not tend hurriedly the ship would exploded. Mainly because one of the engine room exploded and it's dead if not taken care off.
Fortunately, The deck could control all the room of the ships. The captain of the ship ordered his crew to seal off the leaking air. Doors closed one by one until no air coming out from the ship.
The damage they received is large and gave the captain a headache.
He already reported the incident to the marine fleet captain and they intercepted the escaping pod. The Haliya captain didn't bother about it as he continued ordering his crew on board to repair what's to repair.

The rumble of the ship made Anna shock and scared as she snuggled close to Shin. Shin was comforting her as he was also tense up. His instinct was right. The pirates did raid the ship.
Luckily, When the alarm turned off. He sighed a relief because that's a sign things are calming down.
They can only wait for new.
Time passes by as the two heard a knock on the door.
Shin became cautious as he stoop up. He gestured Anna to hide. She nodded and hid inside the closet.
Shin prepared his defensive item he stole and a turned-off lightsaber on hand. He slowly go to door and open it. The door slide to side as a staff stands there with a bright smile on her face. Shin let out a breath seeing the staff... She was the staff earlier who gave him the defensive item.
Shin is very cautious when it comes to his and Anna's safety. He didn't want any mishap from their journey.
"Oh, hey!"
"Yes sir. We have a Good news and a bad news, The pirates has been successfully dealt with.... Unfortunately, Though the travel would be suspended for about week since we receive quite a large damage and need some maintenance."
She said but there was an awkward expression written on her face. She was so confident in their security but to think that a few pirates could give them a massive loss and damage made her ashamed from what she claimed as high rated Commercial Shipping.
Realizing what she was thinking, Shin can only smile at her wryly. He didn't know what to do.
"Shin-kun are you okay?"
A voice coming from behind him. He turned around and answered.
"Yeah, Everything is alright you can come out now."
Anna then walked out and got close Shin as she watch the awkward Atmosphere between the two. She was confused why they are like this. But anyways, Anna grab the hand of the staff.
"Thank you for protecting us."
The staff attempted to pull her hand out but when she heard the sincere tone of the girl before her she was relieved and happy.
"No worries. As long as we can protect our passengers. We will abide by our words. I hope you enjoy your travel."
Anna nodded as we watch the staff go away. She then look at Shin with scrutinizing look as if trying to get some words from him.
"Don't be stupid. I don't like that girl... You get so jelly sometimes when I talk to girls."
"Hmph, Who's jealous!?"
She harrumph her cute mouth as she look like a cute squirrel with a puffy cheeks. Shin pinched her cheeks as he lovingly said.
"She said, The travel will be suspended for a week or so because the ship needed some repair... You know what your are really cute when you get jealous. I love you Anna."
Anna smiled sweetly when she heard Shin's.
"Sliver tongue. You only knows how to use your tongue. Maybe you also used such trick to that girl."
"Hahaha, You're kidding right. You know my tongue is yours only."
Shin as he get close to her, close enough their nose will touch against each other.
"Really?"
Anna implied but with a hint of teasing tone with her soft cloudy voice. Shin stared at her eyes as he thought he was in heavens. He get closer as their lips touched.
"Really."
He said. The two then closed the door as Shin carried Anna to the bed as they passionately combined with each others. Exchanging body heat and saliva.
