The first meeting that Chleo attended went pretty quickly and sleekly. Chleo and Xavier went back down to their office floor, and the seniors of her co-workers greeted her heartily.
They clapped and congratulated Chleo as they all heard about the girl's accomplishment.
"Congratulations, Chleo. It's rare that our main director chooses a new designer's work for a big event, especially since you're just an intern. That means you are gifted." praised Mickey in an exaggerated tone. "How about we eat together to celebrate it?" he suggested in an overly excited manner as if he was the one who got chosen.
"Mike, you couldn't possibly have our junior treat you, right?"
"That's exactly what I planned."
"How thick your skin could be? You still have the heart to ask to be treated by an intern? You should be the one treating us." Xavier fist-bumped with Jay. Both of them were more eager to drain Mickey's wallet than empty out an innocent beauty girl like Chleo.
