With Lily being out of the way, Kazuki then began to talk in a very low voice. It seems like she doesn't want Lily to know about it... might be a piece of bad news.
"So what's the thing you wanted to talk about," I said to Kazuki.
"It's regarding Lily's mother..."
"From the way you say it, this is bad news right?"
Kazuki nodded her head as she said, "Yes, it is..."
"I see, so does that mean her mother-"
"I found a body near my area which I searched for, I checked it and it was already dead... part of her body was torn apart by something... might be a monster."
I wanted to explain to Kazuki that it wasn't a monster that did that, but I can't risk her knowing about the existence of the shadow creeper or her asking how I was able to gather all of that information without a thorough inspection.
