[The Next Morning]
The little girl has yet to open her eyes... We didn't resume our trip back as the both of us couldn't let the little girl here alone. She can't ride the horse as well if she's still unconscious at the moment.
I thought of waking her up but Kazuki wouldn't want me to do that, as she says that it's better for us to just wait.
I'm just glad that our ration is sufficient, it will be tough for us to stay here for a longer period if the food doesn't last that long. As we probably need to hunt down some animals or head to the nearest village which is far from here.

"What do you think will happen to this little girl?" Kazuki asked my opinion on this matter.
"Looking at these wounds... probably from a monster but still, I had no idea why she was attacked by it," I said.
When I think about it, it might not be from a monster after all. Judging from these little girl clothes, it is just rag clothes.
