"Did you finish off all of the monsters already?" Kazuki asked me with a somewhat worried voice.
"Yup... it doesn't pose much of a challenge, to be honest. I wish that thing could get a little better than that." I said that, boasting about my combat skills yet again.
"You know, I thought that I wanted to help you for a moment there as it took you quite a while to return here. I am afraid that something will happen to you... yet here you are Yei. Coming back here unscathed... It's really impressive."
"Well it's just giant slugs... so it posed no threat to me," I said that.
With that, the both of us resumed our journey and headed straight to the cave. On the way, Kazuki still brought up the issue of me being strong, praising my abilities and such.
All of the admiration somehow makes me full of myself... I talked a lot of nonsense afterward and I kinda regretted it.
As it makes me look stupid for the most part I think.
