With the help of Elina's direction, we finally left the field of wildflowers. As we're currently making our way to Gria Town. A town which I never heard off inside of Chronicle Legacy at all. It somehow makes me think that am I really inside the Chronicle Legacy at all?
I suppose all will be the answer after I arrive at Gria Town. If I somehow recognized the structure of that town to be similar with the game. My doubt will be gone completely but if it happens to not be the same... it means that I had ended up in a completely different world from the game.
"Am I not heavy for you Yei?" Elina suddenly asks me that question.
"No, in fact, you're much lighter... I feel like I'm carrying nothing with me at all."
"I see but if you're tired, we could rest for a while."
"Sure but I do not need the rest, for now, I still have plenty of energy left."
As there's still quite a long way before I arrived at Gria Town. I decided to ask what Elina was doing inside the field of wildflower in the first place. Also, how did she encounter the wolves? After saying that to her, there wasn't any reply coming at all.
I then guess that Elina doesn't want to share what happens with me. Well, I don't think I was supposed to know what her business was there at all. I'm basically a stranger to her so it's fine if she doesn't want to tell.
"Sorry to ask that... It must be personal-"
Elina interrupts, "No! It's just that I feel embarrassed to say the reason."
"Why?" I asked.
In my head, there's nothing to be embarrassed about. It's not like Elina had done anything weird unless she was running around naked there, then stumbled upon those wolves. Then I could understand why she doesn't want to talk about this at all.
Here I thought that Elina wouldn't say it to me...
"You must already notice from my clothing already that I'm one of the acolytes of the Auslosha and yet I couldn't defend myself from the wolves at all..."
The moment I heard the word Auslosha, I was somehow relieved as I could finally put the end of the thoughts that had been in my mind all this time, whether this world was the same as Chronicle Legacy. As it was finally answered with what Elina said.
But Elina was an acolyte for Auslosha, I don't expect that at all. Because from what I know, Auslosha was a faith that will be introduced on the next patch of Chronicle Legacy. So hearing about that really makes me a bit shocked.
Now I understand, this must be the updated world of Chronicle Legacy. That's why I feel like the whole place was somewhat new to me. As I heard rumors that the patch would also redesign the whole game... To think that I had entered the updated world of Chronicle Legacy.
It was a welcome surprise, but still what's my objective in this world. Was there something that I needed to defeat or what? Wish back then I had read all of the descriptions regarding the Auslosha patch as it would somehow give me a few hints for what I should do.
"Even if you're speechless right now Yei, is it too hard to believe that I am an acolyte?"
"You're wrong, it's just I don't even know you're part of Auslosha faith Elina... In fact, I actually never seen those clothing before or anything related to Auslosha Faith at all."
I really did not think that the Auslosha acolyte clothing would look like that. It's far from what I could imagine, as it looks like just casual cloth for me. A white top with a chocolate-colored skirt plus a ribbon but I do notice that there's a symbol in Elina's clothing that represents Auslosha.
"What!? You never heard of Auslosha... Do you have no faith at all?" Elina said that.
"Of course I had faith in" Wait a minute, there's no way I would say my faith in my world. I guess I need to pick the faith from the game then. Well, there's only one faith so I had no option to choose from. "I'm actually a follower of Neus."
"Neus? Who is that..." Elina paused for a bit before she said in shock, "Are you part of the crowds that spread false faith!"
"No, of course not. What do you mean you do not know Neus, isn't Neus was a god of righteousness that people usually serve?" I asked.
"You do know that in this world, there's no other god besides Auslosha," Elina said that.
Hearing that, I was surprised a lot. I didn't believe it at all as Neus does not exist in the game. Knowing that this world was somewhat similar to Chronicle Legacy, there's no way that Neus faith doesn't exist at all. Elina must be making a joke here.
"Are you sure that there's no other god?" I ask her that question.
"I'm certain, you could ask the head priest when we arrived at Gria Town later."
With that, I hurried towards Gria Town as I needed to know the answer. Because all of this somehow makes me doubt that I was indeed in a world that I know off.
It took me like one hour or more just to arrive at the gate of Gria Town as I had been lost for a few instances even if Elina was guiding the way. I really am hopeless in direction but at least I had finally arrived here. My first impression about Gria Town, it was pretty big and pretty colorful.
As important as getting my answer right now, I can't neglect Elina as she needed treatment at the moment. Elina's sprained ankle was my number one priority right now.
"So where should I need to drop you off and get you healed?"
