As nervous as I am right now, I had no other choice but to get my level check by the Eyes Crystal. I walk forwards towards the Eyes Crystal and do what Elina told me to do. That was to stare at the Eyes Crystal, but I am still hesitating whether I wanted to look upon it.
Something out of the ordinary happens...

I was quite confused about why there's a vampire in the town but I realized that this might be an opportunity for me... To trick the Eyes Crystal into displaying these stats of mine right now.
As I don't want to waste this chance up, I quickly gaze through the Eyes Crystal to get my stats and level look upon.
Just like Elina said earlier, the moment I stare at the Eyes Crystal. I do feel like there's an unknown presence that is currently watching me all of the sudden. I still don't know if it would display my stats and level, that is... would there be a large screen come out or something similar to that.
The eyeballs of the Eyes Crystal suddenly vanished as there's some lines appearing, trying to form something... in an instant I realized that it was actually forming some letters and numbers.

"Yei! That's an impressive stat... please stay still while I keep a record of this for you to use when taking the adventurer exam and for citizenship."
With that Elina took a piece of card from the desk beside us, the card had nothing on it as it was blank... entirely blank.
Elina then put the blank card in front of the Eyes Crystal, the eyes started to emit light upon the card. Words and numbers started to appear onto that blank card, it's almost like the Eyes Crystal is copying the stats into it. As Elina was still doing her job right now.
I had time to think about the reason why there's a vampire around here. I know that my stats scaling detected creatures around a 20-meter radius but isn't it a little weird that they suddenly appear now. It should have gotten detected a long time as a 20-meter radius does cover a lot of areas.
There's another theory of course that I was simply out of reach of that vampire, it's just that the vampire had been moving around and somehow gotten closer to me.
Yet isn't this the Temple District? How could a vampire run loose here... surely the knights of the town guards were able to spot it instantly. I know that vampires were quite human-like, but one could easily differentiate a human and a vampire in Chronicle Legacy.
As vampires had very pale skin and dead-looking eyes, also vampires were larger than humans... But I guess even the vampire had been altered in this world like the Rozett that I met before. Who knows that the vampire in this world was quite similar to a human, making it hard to know that they're a vampire.
There's still a question in my mind though, about what the vampire is planning to do in this town. Will it be a threat or that the vampire simply wanted to live among humans...
I then realize something, maybe the vampire was the one that kidnapped all of the girls. Their disappearance does happen at night... But it doesn't seem to quite add up yet, what about the girl with the red dress that I saw before.
The two thugs surely weren't a vampire nor a creature of some sort, as my stats scaling would surely be activated that time around. So with that, the two thugs were surely human... It's too complicated for me to even solve it as there's a lot of things that I-
'Why do I even think about it? It doesn't concern me at all.'

"It's done, you could step out from the Eyes Crystal vision now..."
Elina then handed me the card and when I received it in my hands, the card seemed to be a lot different from the moment Elina took it on the desk. It certainly wasn't a blank card anymore...
"Wasn't this a blank card a moment ago?" I ask Elina.
"It's it... well it was the result of the Eyes Crystal but this wasn't just an ordinary card you know, it's a magic item actually."
"Really!? This card was a magic item..." I said that as I was quite surprised to learn about that.
In my head, I thought this was simply a regular plain card that does nothing... To think that it was a magic item, it's certainly shocking.
"So what does this card actually do?" I ask Elina that as I am rather curious about the card potential here.
"Nothing... well it's count as a magical item but the only thing it does was copying the stats that are inside the Eyes Crystal."
"Isn't that mean this card was just like-"
"No! It's the only item that could do it... well we could basically just write it down but one thing that special about this card was that it linked to the Eyes Crystal itself the moment you use it."
"Care to explain that?"
"That means that the stats and level in the card would change according to the person's level... so you wouldn't need to check your stats every time using the Eyes Crystal as the card would serve as the Eyes Crystal."
"I think I understand now, thanks, Elina."
Basically, I had no use of this card to be honest, as I had my system to do that for me. But I suppose I need to keep this card around to get citizenship. Like this, an important thing after all for that matter... wouldn't want to lose it.
It would be a hassle for me to do this again in the future...
