"If you do not want to hear, that's fine but at least you should be honest with him," Miya says.
"I am being honest here, Miya."
Miya didn't say a thing at all. It seems like she had gotten a little bit angry with me. But this is not my fault at all, she is the one that makes the assumption here. Girls were indeed a complicated being... Well I am a girl but still, I'm a man, I'm glad that never changed...
But enough of that as I need to console Miya right now. My experience with girls isn't that great but I will do my best to make up with her.
Wait a minute... I think there's a way to solve all of this easily. That was to admit that it was boring even though I never heard the context she was talking about at all. As a girl I really like to be right at everything, at least that is what I learn from watching YouTube.
"Hey, Miya... I am sorry about what happened before and yes. I do find it a little boring, I thought you would not notice it. I'm truly sorry."
After I said all of that, Miya simply glanced at me without saying anything at all. Which makes me very...
This girl! What does she need me to do huh... is she the type of girl that easily holds grudges against someone. Well if that is the case, I would say that I messed up so bad... if Miya really is that kind of girl. Because of her looks only, Miya was a beautiful woman and looked very normal. You would never think that she was that type of girl.
If she acted this way throughout... I guess it's better for us to part away. But I think at least I need to try once again. Maybe this time Miya would forgive and forget all of that, despite I believe I had done nothing wrong... even a slightest at all.
"Miya, I know I am wrong here but for the sake of our team up... Would you at least say something, it's doesn't to be ghosted."
Miya then gives me a smirk on her face right now. "That's good then, you have learned your lesson."
"What!?"
Does that mean Miya was ignoring me because she wanted me to feel the same she felt when I ghosted her? I do deserve that but still...
"So you're not mad at me?" I asked Miya about that.
"Of course not but I would admit that I'm a little bit angry when you admit that what I talk about was really boring."
I really shouldn't have said that but how could I know that all of this was an act. Girl's indeed very complicated beings.
"Again, I am sorry."
Still, I feel a bit relieved to know that it was an act, not a real thing. If not I am really going to end our team up immediately as there's no way we both could cooperate while we're in that kind of state.
....
We resumes our journey and did encounter some wolves a few times but it seems like it doesn't give me a huge amount of EXP anymore to level up. I guess I need to fight a Fogriun or something stronger than that because I really need to level up before I get back to the town.
As I am sure that someone would want to see what my level was using that Eyes Crystal. At least I need to be on level 50 or something as it would be very bad if I returned while I was still around level 20.
"Miya? You mention that your job was to eradicate all of the monsters here right... Do you know what kind of monsters inhabited this field right now?"
"According to the reports that I was given, it said that there are Wolves, Fogriun and some other undefined monsters."
"The Rozett?"
"Oh! Forget about that, because that wasn't on the reports... I just discovered it recently."
"Wait a minute, how did you discover the Rozett in the first place? Do you see that plant monster?"
"I walked past it once."
"Isn't your job was to eradicate monsters... why wouldn't you kill the Rozett off. You do know that it was the most dangerous monster among all of the ones you had listed."
Don't tell me that... I completely forgot that Rozett had one special ability. That was a parasite, the skill to take over someone without the people even realizing that all of their actions had been controlled... Was this the case for Miya here, as it wouldn't make any sense for her not to kill the Rozett?
"The Rozett didn't do any harm from my inspection, so there's no need for me to do that."
"I see, so what's the purpose for us to go there... Was it to kill the Rozett?" I asked Miya her reason.
"No... we're going there because you wanted to get the Flower of Eve. Not to kill the Rozett, isn't that right?"
Hearing that, I could confirm that Miya was under the influence of the parasite. Of course, I do know what's the real reason for her to bring me there, it was for Rozett to use that parasite skill on her upon me.
But still, why would Rozett want to do this?
I am well aware that Rozett was a highly intelligent plant monster but there must be a reason why it was using Miya. There's only one way to find out and that was to meet the Rozett itself but doing so would put me at risk of getting the parasite.
I think it's best for me to just kill off the Rozett after all, who cares about its reason behind this. After all, the Rozett was a monster and I believe that there's no way a monster would try to scheme something.
But I know if I decided to do that... the fight would be hard as I need to fight Miya as well. From what I see, Miya was a powerful magun user and it would surely give me trouble.
