A thin hand with multiple scars scratched out a few learning sentences on a fairly worn notebook.
"Anyone have any questions?"
Nathan hesitated but eventually raised his hand, along with another student, Ian Kendrick the class champion. "Well, what's your concern, Mr. Kendrick?"
Nathan put his hand down. Head down and back stare blankly at the white board in front. Same day, he's still invisible. He couldn't possibly top the class champion. A clever young man glanced briefly at Nathan after successfully asked a question. Ian realized that the skinny young man sitting in the back of the class also raised his hand.
The young man's gaze was flat and difficult to decipher.
The bell rang almost half the class immediately left the room. Nathan's not even in the cafeteria.
Walk slowly down the hall. The only way to keep him out of the sewers is to be invisible. Away from the crowd, away from the hordes of powerful students walking in the middle of the corridor.
Get to the cafeteria safely. His bad days could end here. It's rare that he makes it to the cafeteria without the negotiations in his school. Pick a corner seat and be invisible. Enjoying the food in silence, alone. Like always. Nathan had to chew with his teeth knocked out by force. Even his mouth had a painful ache when he gulped down water.
Braak!
The table was kicked, some very young men he knew came up to Nathan with defiant faces. "Alone?" Gerald said belittling. "Oh, sure, I was forget, no one wants to be friends with you" his mocking laughter.
Nathan just looked down, unable to look what he could do against these goons. Either he ends up locked in a barn or a closet.
"Tsk... So boring" Gerald scoffs at not getting back at Nathan. The big boy forcibly snatched Nathan's food from his tray. Lifting it high and throwing it right over the skinny young man's body. "Finish it quickly... Loser" Gerald and the rest of the lads passed after landing a crash on Nathan's head.
The skinny young man squeezed his sleeve firmly. Venting pent-up anger beyond his ability to vent. He had no courage, not even to imagine a fight with those rascals

The smell of winter autumn brings a dollop. Nathan looked up at the blue sky. The cold air slips into his thin uniform. Unlike other children with warmer coats, he was wearing an old uniform with a few loose stitches.
Nathan approaches the guardrail. Staring down at some of the lower students passing by. Slowly the skinny young man lies on the rooftop floor. His thin arms covered the blinding rays of the sun in his eyes.
Lucky this place hasn't been visited for a long time. Nathan counted a few clouds coming up on top. Long enough for drowsiness to begin.

One drop of water at a time soaked the earth. Hits the skin of a young man still in slumber. The cold began to trickle as the drops fell.
Nathan woke up to find a drizzle drenching over rooftop, as well as on his rooftop. Judging by the sudden change in sunny weather and now it has become pitch black, he is expected to have fallen asleep until the afternoon.
His thin leg ran quickly toward the classroom. Lucky the class door hasn't been locked and he sees his bag still on the counter. Carrying his old bag and walking back out of school. At least he doesn't have to deal with Gerald and Alex anymore.
Nathan ran small with the bag he used as a surprise umbrella. Going through the half-empty pavement. Even the drizzle, but drops of water from the sky won't stop raining down on the earth. He felt as if he had taken refuge in his backpack, but it was not enough to cover his entire body.
"Need a ride? Sweetie?"
Familiar voice could be heard along with an umbrella blocking the raindrop. The dark-haired boy with a wide-eyed wink was flirting.
Instead of getting upset, Nathan chuckled at the look on Jeremy's face. "You are ridiculous." he jests.
Jeremy laughed with his baritone voice. Patting Nathan on the shoulder, channeling tickle in his stomach. "You're fighting again, right?"
"Hahaha is a natural," Nathan said. "No pressure."
Jeremy likes to play games, even with women's feelings. But on that young man of German blood alone, Nathan was never too awkward to discuss anything.
"I'm sure Wyatt will beat them twice over."
"Don't you dare tell him!" Nathan's face threatens but it's not enough to scare Jeremy. He just gets knocked out and of course pisses Nathan off.
Up at the seedy apartment. It was quite a load of energy going up one flight of stairs. "Arrghh my knee is about to fall off," Look how Jeremy got to Nathan's room. The young man of curls lay down on the floor, as if ignoring how airborne dust might damage the pores of the beautiful face he was always applauding.
"You guys already got here? When?" enough to wonder where his friends were even earlier in his house.
Wyatt stood up to Nathan and hugged him tight. "Why is your body wet?!" and nagging was the first thing Nathan got. He never got hurt by the tough-haired young man. Wyatt's just worrying too much.
"Don't worry about me, why are you alone against them?"
Wyatt took a step back. Scratching his clumsy neck, someone must have told Nathan and he knew who.
Obviously, Dean, the kid always talks like shit. Dean joined his hands in front of his face with a gesture of apology.
"Look, Vincent is eager to decorate this place," Wyatt blurted out the conversation. He clearly knows that Nathan doesn't want anyone interfering with his problem. And Wyatt realized Nathan wasn't strong enough to fight them alone.
"Tsk..." Vincent squealed, but he couldn't get it off his face in a red.
"Really? Wow.. Thank you Mr. Clement~"
Look at the boy tire's cheeks growing red, in sync with the color of his hair.
"It's a welcome home party because you're home early," he answered flatly. Nathan smiles much, Vincent rarely surprises what's so troublesome. The over-genius mute boy is greeting him.
"Let's talk over dinner, Come over...." Dean pull's Nathan's arm slow, leads him to sit next to him.
Nathan's wistful face brightened up at seeing how his friends always supported him. Maybe to others they're just a bunch of teenage boys who come together in a random state. But Nathan didn't know what would happen if he was alone.
"So, what are you gonna tell me?" Wyatt asked. Nathan looked up to him with his mouth full of Jajangmyeon. Dean brought enough portions for the five of them.
"Oh, about the message.." swallows the swollen food in his mouth first, and then goes back to the "what if a girl likes you?"
"Nathan, are you dating?
"Who is that girl?!"
"Is it pretty?!"
"Don't tell me she's blind"
The last sentence came from Vincent. The cold boy just doesn't accept that their innocent friend is dating.
Versus Jeremy in reverse. The beautiful young man is approaching Nathan. "How did she respond to you?"
Nathan pulled out a handkerchief with a bloodstain still left there. "He gave me this to wipe the blood off my nose," Nathan explained.
"Nathan your nosebleed.."
"Yeah, I got a nosebleed in class."
"No!" Dean covered tyrian Nathan's face, looked at him with the shock of "Your nose is bleeding!"
And Nathan could feel a fluid coming out of his nose as his consciousness grew progressively faded.
