Amid the post-lunch lethargy, the fifth period commenced, casting a heavy veil of drowsiness over the majority of Sakura High School's students. A notable exception emerged within the confines of class 2C, where an unusual level of engagement persisted.
In this class, an overwhelming 99% of students were invested in the ongoing lesson. The other 1% appeared to be surrendering to sleep's embrace. Yami stood as one of the attentive, his unwavering gaze locked onto the chalkboard where equations of ellipses, hyperbolas, circles, and parabolas materialized. The rhythm of the lesson enthralled him, capturing his attention right from its inception.
Yami's capacity for focus was one of his formidable skills, a trait often underestimated. In an era saturated with distractions, focus had become a distinct skill only possessed by the capable few. His absorption of the lesson was accentuated by the teacher's captivating prowess.
The instructor's voice, gentle yet commanding, reverberated with authority, transcending the confines of the classroom. Each chosen word carried weight, orchestrating the intricate concepts into accessible explanations. A well-kept secret within the school was that he knew the names of every student he had taught, establishing a rapport that endeared him to the student body.
Amidst the mathematical discourse, Mr. Tanaka's fingers moved with a dancer's grace, effortlessly sketching the curves and lines on the chalkboard. His voice softened as he demystified the complex web of mathematical relationships. Students found themselves drawn to his voice. The equations now painted before them on the board became notations in a symphony of understanding.
Among the rapt audience, the majority being girls, all eyes converged on the teacher. Silver-white hair cascaded down his head like ethereal silk, casting a mysterious aura as it partially concealed his countenance. His facial proportions were nearly impeccable, yet it was his eyes that held the audience captive. Deep and enigmatic, they revealed no overt emotions, making his demeanor all the more intriguing.
Tall and composed, every motion exuded grace and control. Beneath the veneer of maturity lay a tantalizing enigma that seemed to beckon observers. Known simply as Yashushi Tanaka, he was the sole custodian of mathematical knowledge at the school, a position he executed with precision.

The bell rings and hearing it all the students relaxes and strecthes their body on their seats.
"How do we get so absorbed in his class, man?" The guy who sat next to Yami said to a guy sitting in front of him.
"Even I wonder that, I basically slept through all the maths class till 2nd semester of my 1st year until Mr.Tanaka started teaching. Then I was alive in all those classes and passed with good marks in the finals." The guy sitting in front of him said.
"Yeah, it's like there is magic in his voice that catches and keep hold of your attenton till needed."
"Yami Kurogane" Mr.Tanaka called Yami.
Hearing the call, Yami walked to teacher's desk, Mr.Tanaka was solving some doubts of others.
Then he turned his attention to Yami, "Kurogane, any doubts regarding the class?"
"No sir."
"Right now you may don't have any, but if you have any when going through the material again or any doubts about the things you studied in your previous school, meet me in the Teacher's Lounge after school or tomorrow before homeroom." Mr. Tanaka said without any expression on his face.
"Alright, everyone, remember to revisit today's material before sleep and attempt your homework. Effort matters; accuracy can follow."
"Well then, class dismissed. Everyone stood up and said Thank you.
Mr. Tanaka took his study materials and left the classroom and Yami also went to his seat.
"Hey Kurogane, which club are you joining? " The guy sitting in front of him asked him.
"I'm still thinking about it." Yami introduced himself with a smile.
They both stared at each other until the boy broke
"I'm Yuki Hoshino. Nice to meet you. May I call you Yami?" Yuki gave him a puppy dog look.
"Sure but only if I can call you Yuki too." "Fine with me, so you decide which club you will join."
"I thought of the Basketball Club since I was a part of it in middle school but I like to try something new now so I was thinking of the Soccer Club." Yami replied.
"Here's another idea: the Newspaper Club. I'm a content writer there, and your presence could elevate us with your reporting skills."
"Why do you think I'd excel as a reporter?"
"Your charismatic appearance is a strong point." Yuki's reasoning hung in the air as Yami pondered.
As the conversation progressed, another voice broke in, interrupting the dynamic.
"E-Excuse me?" Haruka interjected, her interruption met with Yami's attention.
They both turned their heads towards the girl who interrupted them.
She was signaling Yami to speak to Mr. Tanaka as soon as he left the class. However, Yami ignored every signal, and even during the class, she dropped her pen on the floor near his table so he could pick it up and give it to her, but his gaze never moved away from Mr. Tanaka.
Seeing that he was not giving her any attention, Haruka was very angry.
'Why isn't he talking to me?'
Her thoughts echo in the silence of her mind. She wrestled with her emotions, caught between curiosity and frustration.
She thought to herself, 'I'm one of the most beautiful girl in our grade, so why isn't he talking to me? Every other boy is just dying to talk to me!'
She felt her pride swell as she thought about this. She was trying everything to get his attention, to make him talk to her but Yami was too busy talking to Yuki. She wrestled with her emotions, feeling angry and frustrated She was accustomed to attention from boys, but Yami's indifference perplexed and irritated her. She wanted to ask him why he wasn't talking, swallowing her pride but before she could, Yuki started talking to him.
Yuki was the most extrovert guy in their class or could be in their year. He knows almost every person in their year, he also knows many 3rd year too.
Yuki is of average height, with blonde hair, and a good face but it was more cute than it was handsome. This is also one of the reasons he does not have any bad reputation.
She saw that their conversation had stopped and finally raised her voice.
"Yami-chan why aren't you tal-?" Her words were stopped by the loud voice of the door opening.
They saw a woman coming and Yuki introduced her as the English Language teacher.
Just like that, Haruka failed again. Yami and Yuki both turned their attention to the English Language Teacher with Yuki saying they wlll look for the clubs after School.

"You say a boy with the Surname Kurogane has transfered in the School today." In a room full of darkness, there was only one source of light, a spotlight and the spotlight, a aged woman, was doing a dogeza.
In front of her a figure was sitting on a throne on an elevated surface, beside her was a woman standing with a spear in her hand.
To her left and also her right, fourwomen on each side were also sitting on an elevated surface but it was lesser compared to the figure sitting in front of her.
They were all young, some beautiful, some average and some ugly, due to darkness only their face can seen.
Every person sitting on a throne had a document in their hand, in which Yami's present and middle school self photo and information was written there.
"Do you know why you are in a dogeza, Nagisa?" A woman from Nagisa's right spoke up.
"Because I provided information related to the Kurogane late."
