Derik and Lucien appeared in a familiar place that looked like an endless line, leading towards a massive green gate. There he watched many souls walk without hesitation towards the gates even though painful cries could be heard at the other side.
Even though this is the second time of coming here, Lucien felt chills run down his spine and he felt really uncomfortable. Above the canyons were he saw countless demonic beings gazing at him and Derik.
Obviously, they didn't come here with their souls but their bodies as well. He suddenly noticed Derik's death aura around him making him wonder why.
"If I take it off, your body will age in an instant... This is not a place for mortal men!" Derik said calmly while looking at the demonic beings gazing at them.
He quickly ignored them while he and Lucien followed the line. If he is correct, the emperor must have passed through those gates and should be in the underworld.
